I Annaleis Morganns has vowed to myself that i would never, ever, talk again.

Why?

I'll tell you why.

It had all began one sunny day in Nashley, Georgia.

Just kidding it was stormy as fuck.

The wind whirled the Sycamore trees hard, making them bend and creak with the stress on their branches.

I sang quietly to myself inside the safety of my shitty trailer home. Working quickly to mop up the water that blew in the cracked and broken windows from the severe storm.

My mother had ran out earlier to get plastic to cover the windows, but she knew they wouldn't do anything to help.

She had told me that this place was only temporary, that we only had to live with my father until she saved up enough money to get ourselves out of this horrid place.

Away from the man who was my father.

But when she got back, her hands held nothing. Her breath was rapid and she was shaking.

"Get as much as you can into your backpack. Hurry." My mother rushed about the trailer gathering pictures and anything else of value.

"What? why?" i asked her. still mopping up the messy, wet floor.

No sooner had i said that, a heart stopping sound vaulted itself into my ears.

My Father.

"Mollie! Get the fuck out here NOW!" The horrible man who called himself my father slammed his truck door shut.

"Annaleis go! Now!" my mother yelled at me.

Scared shitless i ran to my bedroom and packed clothes into my bag. From the other room i could hear my father screaming at my mother for some unknown reason.

My breathing rapid i skittered over to my closet and peeled away the carpet to reveal my money stash. My mother was yelling back at my father just as loud if not louder than he had to her.

"Brandon no!" my mother screamed as I heard his heavy footsteps come my way. Quickly I shoved the money back in its hole and threw my back pack into the closet. Jumping into bed acting as innocent as possible before i saw him stomping to my room with my mother close behind.

"Anna shut the door!" my mom yelled to me jumping on my fathers back. From where i was standing i could see the rage in my fathers eyes and the fear in my mothers. I slammed the door shut and locked it as he reached it. Knowing fully what he had intended to do.

From the hole in my door i watched in horror as he beat my mother against the wall.

"Mom!" i cried.

My mother had fallen unconscious from his blows.

Done with my mother my dad headed towards my door. I backed away slowly hoping the door would hold.

"Anna get out here now!" He beat on my door, he was tired. And drunk. i could tell. The blows on the door were less frequent and softer than before. "I'll get you. Cunt." he gave one last hard punch and walked away to the storming outdoors.

Quickly i unlocked the door and went to my unconscious mother. "Mom...Mom!" i shook her gently, not wanting to hurt her.

"mmmhm" she murmured.

I dragged her into my room and locked the door behind me. The tears streamed down my face as i cried into my mothers shoulder.

"Baby, it'll be okay. We have to leave. Today." She cooed into my ear.

"I know mom. Are you going to be able to walk?" My voice shook from the adrenaline still left in my system.

"Yes. Pull my pack out from under the bed. Get the money and lets go." She stood shakily and limped to the door.

"Mom be careful." I warned her as she quietly went out the door.

"I will baby i just have to grab something." she whispered.

With shaking hands i grabbed a few things left in my room, a picture of my mom and me, my phone and laptop. Plus my Chargers.

I put on a large hoodie and waited for my mom to come back.

"Mollie! where's my-" Dad yelled for my mother but stopped when he saw she was packing something into her bag. "What do you think your doing?" He asked her quietly at first. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING? ARE YOU LEAVING ME?!" he was screaming at the top of his lungs.

"Brandon, I-" she stuttered with fear."i'm just-"

"NO!" he slapped her across the face.

"Anna Go! run!" she started after me running to my bedroom.

"Mom no!" i screamed as my father pulled out a pistol.

*BANG*

And that was it. She was lying on the ground, screaming in pain.

"Anna Go!" She cried weakly to me.

"But Mom!" I whined weakly, seeing my father come closer in my periphrial vision.

"GO!" her voice was so weak. "I Love you Anna."

"I love you mom." I turned and grabbed my pack.

My father shot at me, shooting out the glass in my window. I screamed and dived out of it.

Then I just started running.

"I'll get you Anna!" He shot at me twice more before all I could hear was the sound of my own footsteps through the forest and my heart pumping wildly.

Running through the woods I came out on the other side of town, where it was more populated and I could find the police station.

I hadn't stopped running since I jumped out the window, and I didn't intend to until I found the police station that was just ahead.

A woman screamed at me to watch where I was going, and then screamed again for a reason unknown to me.

Tears still streamed down my face as I burst into the police station frantically yelling for help.

"Hey someone grab her shes making a mess everywhere!" a blue uniformed man yelled to another uniformed woman.

"Hey!! Hey!" she yelled trying to grab my arm as i shook with fear and anxiety.

"He killed her! He killed her! Shes gone!" I was screaming at the top of my lungs.

"What happened!?" The woman asked me.

"Shes gone." I whispered feeling the blackness pull me into it.
