VII: Tale of Teenagers
/ dedicated to nina for having a fab name. i wish for a good day ahead to you! /
Dear Farleigh,
Things are getting rough now, high school maybe heaven to you since High School Musical would be a big fat liar to say that Troy Bolton could sing his heart out and stand proudly on his desk. Well if you'd do that, you'd go straight to the Principal's Office. That sucks too you know. Being a Freshman isn't as joyful as it is, jocks would look at you as if you were an addition to the school, as if you were supposed to be dead rather than alive and change the world.
It is also true that girls are as scary as men. Instead of giving you a knock-out punch, a cat fight would pursue in cafeterias and faces that bleed. I want you to be as patient as I can, everyone wants to die here. Everyone's bad here, in middle school we are sweet little angels but I don't know what is happening to everyone.
Students suicide, girls cut their wrist, boys smoke pot and challenge each other for a deathtrap. I don't want you to be like that, please don't be one. I don't want you to turn into a menacing person because you've been strong-willed. I know I look up to you because you are so opinionated and most of your opinions mend the problems, even if harshness do envelope.
But it's time to change, I did hope that you did find these letters before you'd start middle school or it would be too late. But this is a tale of a teenager: we sin and forget. Every sin that we look is a hipster act, but don't we'll regret. I did regret. But don't tell mom.
Sincerely Yours,
Gregory Jones
