I can't love - A Hannie Fanfiction

Kenz..?

Hayden's Pov:
After dropping Annie off at her apartment I decided to go get some coffee, I saw someone who looked oddly familiar... "kenz? Why are you here?" I say as she turns around "well obviously I'm getting coffee" she says flirtatiously. She decided a to sit across from me at my table "do you want it hang out?" Kenzie asks, how should I respond when I know she my ex and she's probably jealous.. jealous of what? I'm not sure. So I say yes of course and we head on to the streets, we start walking in the direction of the park near Annie's apartments
Annie's Pov:
After Hayden took me home I decided to go to the park to write some songs, I bring my guitar,songbook,pencil, and capo. As I start to head down to the park I realize how peaceful la is, compared to what people think it is. I pull out my songbook and start writing ,plucking every chord perfectly.
Hayden's Pov:
As we start to arrive at the park Mackenzie decides to run away from me so I chase her around the park a couple times, then we decided to play chess, she won of course. Then.. I spot my bestfriend, sitting there alone watching us be together and having fun, Kenzie comes up behind me and grabs my hand as we intertwine fingers, like we where a couple but we weren't, Annie's face goes from sad, to sadder, to tears, to grabbing her guitar and singing a song I've never heard  right in my face, the holding hands...It didn't feel right, "Hayden will you be my boyfriend?" "Sure" I said it out of pressure, we are holding eachothers hands like we where getting married, but different. Annie glances back one more time with her black and orange guitar hanging around her neck as she walks away with her head down after looking back
Annie's Pov:
I watched them run around and have fun, if made me sad, knowing I could never do that with him, it wouldn't be right, I just can trust myself with the responsibility of keeping him happy, she can. I watch her intertwine fingers with him, I guess they are a couple . Tears start to stream down my face, I grab my guitar and start singing "irrelevant" by Lauren aqullian and walk up to him and play loud and clear, wanting to get the point across to him that I'm hurt, and I want to love him but it's not home that's keeping me from it ,it is me. I start to walk back to the bench where I was sitting and grab my stuff and head back to the apartment, cried the whole way there, in my room that I shared with Haley and all night.
