He comes back

Annie's Pov:
It's two weeks later, Hayden's been ingnoring me while he hangs out with his new "girlfriend" kenz, I'm not sure if they are official yet, but it looks like it, I start to turn on the small, old television, when I get a knock on the door, I go to open the door but Haley jumps in front of me first, she opens the door while I wait behind her to see who it is, and there he stands, face red, puffy eyes, and heartbroken. He was not heartbroken because of Mackenzie, it was because of me. "Annie" he slows down his words, like he's talking to someone young. "Listen me and Mackenzie are together, she's happy." My heart broke. "Are you happy?" I ask with tears in my eyes "yeah.." of course he is.. why wouldn't he be. I hadn't invited him in so he stands out of the door, both of us silent, I slam the door on him as I'm about to break down. All the memories come back of my mom in the hospital and how she just stopped loving me and how Hayden had stopped loving me and how everyone forgot about me, how I was everyone's second choice. I slide down the door crying and I hear his footsteps getting farther..and farther.
