The wolf and the detective

Chapter 1

L stood on his chair in his strange position while thinking. He was very confused.

If Kira lost his happy memories, then why was Light-kun involving himself with him? He always seemed happy when he stayed with L. L decided to ask him that. And to tell him something that might kill him.

"Hey, Raito-kun..." L asked. Light Yagami looked at him.

"Why did you... embrace me?" L asked, putting the word 'sex' into the one. Light blushed.

"B-because... I love you. I told you. I know we are rivals, but I didn't choose to fall in love with you. Loving you is my choice. I decided to do so." Light said. L's heard was moved. He did love him back.

"Light-kun... if I tell you my name... will you still love me, or be drowning on your crazy killing thoughts again." L asked. Light smiled and told him.

"You realized that I was Kira so long ago, huh? But I am not Kira anymore. The person that touches the Death Note and uses it is not supposed to feel happiness... but I experienced it the past two months. When I went to check if the Death Note was there (since Ryuk had been absent the past few weeks) and It blowed away when I arrived. Then, it exploded in the sky. Since I'm truly happy with you, the Death Note was destroyed." Light explained. L was in the verge of tears even thought his expression was as blank and ever.

"Light-kun... my name is Lawlight. And...." L made a big pause. Like he was trying to get the words out, but he couldn't.

"I-I'm...I'm...p..p-pr..pr-pr....pre..." L was gagging and stuttering is much, Light hugged him and said.

"Just tell me, I won't be mad or anything." He said. L felt a tear coming down on his cheek.

"I'm pregnant." L murmured, almost inaudible. But Light heard him.

"I'm so sorry." Light said.

"It's fine... I want it... I just think it's impossible... you're hiding something from me again, aren't you?" L asked, now sobbing openly. Light took L to the room they usually had sex on. The room that had no cameras. It was dark, and only one tiny light was on.

Light and L undressed themselves. Light sat down on the bed with L, and kissed his belly. It was getting bigger. But Light already loved that baby. Just like he loved L. L still had his eyes watering, and patted Light's head and stroked his hair, lovingly. Th detective fell in love with his number one suspect. But Light had already told L that he was previously Kira. And the case was now closed, since the Death Note was destroyed. L never felt so happy.

"L... Lawlight. You might be wondering why are you pregnant." Light said. L just nodded. Light took a slow, deep breath.

"Ok then. Promise me you won't be scared. Or tell anyone." Light said. L nodded, once more. He trusted L with his life.

Light took a breath again and... transformed into a wolf. A werewolf, to be exact. L got surprised, but kissed the furry man. And they both smiled, and cried silently.

"You know I love you, no matter what, don't you." L said. Light stroked L's cheek, gently, and taking his tears away. Light transformed back.

"No. Change back into a wolf. We are going to do it in your true form, Light. I'm going to show you how much I trust you with my body. It's yours just take me." L said. Light changed back again. They kissed, and did their usual embracing. But that time, Light treated L like the most precious thing on Earth. It was gentle, quick, burning, intense, loving.

Next morning, L woke up and stood up, silently. He touched his stomach, where the baby was resting, gently. He stroked it, smiled and kissed Light's forehead. Light woke up and smiled too. The couple kissed soft, little pecks, and dressed up.

Unfortunately it was too late, and Light's father had entered on the room, obviously searching for Light. Light and L were paralyzed for three seconds, but then they realized that not only Light's father, but the whole detective/ police guys were there.

"What?? L-san!! He is our biggest enemy!! I mean, suspect!! And you slept with him!!! What about the consequences!!!???" They asked. Light's father was shocked. He never thought his son would fell in love with a guy like L.

"I know the consequences. I don't care. I'm in love with him. And I'm pregnant." L said, blank face not appearing. Instead, he had a small smile, that showed the world to them. L and Light were happy.

"How dare you??!!! Are you gay, Light?!!!! Wha-?!!! Don't dress up now!! Listen to me??!!!!" Light's father was yelling. Light and L dressed up, and left the room with one last word.

"Dad, I love Lawlight and the baby he's carrying. Don't search for me. I'll be fine." Light said. He packed some of his clothes, deodorant, toothbrushes, sleeping bags, and a big lollipop for L to not die without candy. L understood his plan and took a lot of money he had. 10 000 000¥ to be precise. Then, Light, Lawlight, and their future child left that place forever. Light's father was so shocked and ran around L's ex-house and searched for then, non-stop. Failing that, he told the other police men to tell him what happened.

"I'm pretty sure they... ran away.." One of the guys said, shyly. Light's father turned red and searched for them, failing.

The two of them were already at the station, and had already left that district. They only went out of the train when they saw it was the last stop. It was dark, and they climbed a small mountain. When they reached a place that had lots of trees and comfy grass, they put their sleeping bags there and went to sleep. But L couldn't sleep. The baby was very agitated that night. Light noticed and asked L to come to his sleeping bag. Sure they'll be squeezing each other out, but it was warm. The baby calmed down when it realized it was between its dads, and everything was fine. L fell asleep with a smile on his face, and so did Light, after watching L sleep for a while.
