kang daniel was shaking his sister, trying to wake her up. it was the weekend but he had news to tell her. mina didn't move but mumbled "what do you want?" to daniel. he knew this wouldn't work so he got something for her. "wake upppp, I got mcdonalds breakfast for you." she instantly got up and took it from him. while she was eating, he decided to break the news to her. "i'm moving to Seoul and mom wants you to come with me." she snorted, "boi whatchu talking about? i'm in the middle of my school year?" he patted her head, "I want to continue my career in seoul plus you said you always wanted to move to seoul right? you don't need to worry about that, we already found a school for you, just worry about packing." she sighed heavily, "there's no way to change your mind right?" he nodded happily. she knew she couldn't change his nor her mother's mind so she just started texting her friends the news. 

-one week later-

daniel and mina were saying goodbye to their mom, after unpacking all their stuff in their new apartment. mina was about to chill in her new room when the doorbell rang. wondering who it was, she answered the door and was endulfed in a hug from the one and only ong seongwoo, daniel's best friend. once he released her, he asked where daniel is. "he's in the shower, he'll be out in a minute." seongwoo shot her a thumbs up and started asking her multiple questions, like which school she's going to, does she know the area, etc. she answered all of them the best she could, but seongwoo declared he wouldn't leave her alone until all three of them visit his favourite café. once daniel came out and got dressed, they were ready to leave. ongniel were chatting the whole way to the café, while mina just decided to play games on her phone, she was a bit disappointed that none of her friends messaged her yet and asked her how she's doing but she shrugged it off thinking they were busy. they reached the café and mina pushed the door open. the place was so aesthetically pleasing, her eyes were blessed. daniel and seongwoo went to take a seat while mina went to order drinks for all of them. behind the counter was such a beautiful man, mina's breath was taken away. when he asked what she wanted, she quickly recollected herself and ordered two lattes and one bubble tea. she went back to the table and another handsome man brought them their drinks. mina was dumbfounded but she vowed to go to this café at least twice a week. when she looked around, she noticed there were a lot of students who come here. she saw someone wearing the uniform of her new school, and they locked eyes with each other, she tried to give a small smile but felt too awkward to do so and just looked away. seongwoo asked mina, "are you excited for school?" she shook her head no. daniel frowned and asked why, to that mina just replied "it's hard to find good friends and even harder to make them your friends." they both nodded silently. after a while daniel said, "don't try too hard, i have a feeling you'll fit right in." mina wasn't too sure but decided not to question it. 

mina was shook when she saw her school, daniel gave her the directions to the school yet she was shook. she already had her timetable in hand, her first class being the dreaded math. in her old school, the classrooms were numbered 202, 121, 234, 312, etc, the number in the middle being the floor it was on. she thought maybe it's the same in this school as she walked up to the second floor as the classroom was 324. she thought this school was 10 times more spacious than her old school but she changed her mind quickly when someone bumped into her. "Ya, I'm sorry are you okay?" he patted her head while his other friend just watched. it was just a minor bump but she replied "why are you patting my head?" he retracted his hand, while his friend laughed and she noticed his snaggletooth. she felt like she had seen him somewhere before, but had no time to think as the bell rang. she heard the first guy curse under his breath and quickly said bye, and they both ran to class. seeing them go, she also decided to leave. there's no time to wait anymore.
