Grant was now in the eleventh grade and what had once been an unbreakable friendship with Skye, had turned into dust. Grant ad flashbacks every once in a while of him and Skye running round the playground, holding hands and hugging every day. It seemed silly in the moment but he did remember that he cared for he deeply. Yes the girl he hadn't seen in ten years, he still cared for her.

Grant was still extremely smart but he had become one of the ' Cool Kids'

Everyone respected him and treated him and his 'gang' like royalty. Grant had such a kind heart so it was very different for him in this environment. He had managed to get his friend Leo a friend in his friendship group. Together Grant and Leo were the smart ones of the group and would work together to help their friends with homework.

Leo had a girlfriend. Yes that's right, Leo finally asked out his childhood best friend and crush, Jemma. Grant thought they made such an adorable couple but Leo hated him saying it. However Leo wasn't completely happy because Grant made him 'cool'

and he wanted to do something in return. Every girl wanted to date Grant Ward but Leo knew only one girl that Grant would have dated. Skye...
