Skye wasn't quite old enough to live on her own so it was back to the orphanage again. Even though Skye was completely lonely she was happier. She was happier in the orphanage because it was in Chicago, her home town. She liked the surroundings of the orphanage, the view from her window was perfect to see the sunset and sunrise.

Skye knew she wouldn't be adopted, so she was going to have to get used to life at the orphanage, mabey it wasn't too bad.

Skye had to attend the local public high school, like all the other teenagers in the orphanage. The high school was known to have the ' Cool kids' and the 'geeks.' Skye knew she would be labelled as a geek or just a loner like she used to be in Maddison.

First day:

Skye walked through the school gates, carrying her sactual over her shoulder. The school had two giant doors with a stone staircase leading up to them, through the doors was the typical high school. A long hall way with lockers along either side, and people crowding round in large friend groups. Skye nervously walked through the doors of her new school, and followed the signs to the office to collect her timetable.

After collecting her timetable she walked around and eventually found her first classroom. To her surprise, she  was welcomed by smiling and happy faces. She looked round to see a familiar face... It was Jemma.

The two girls made eye contact for a split second before running towards each other, arms open wide. They embraced the hug for what seemed like forever to Skye, but she didn't care, she was back with someone she cared about. She was back where she belonged.
