Skye was the opposite to Grant. Well hey we're both extremely bright but Skye had only one friend. No one cared about Skye except if they needed help with work. The change of were she was to grow up really effected her because she was used to having a shoulder to cry on, arms that would embrace her in a soft hug. She no longer had this.
Being an only child was hard enough back at home because the only person she had was Grant but now she felt isolated and different. People made fun of her because she was small and didn't talk to anyone. The funny thing was Skye was so beautiful with long locks of brown hair spiralling down her back and big beady brown eyes. She had been asked on a date before but she said no because there was only one person for her. Everyone thought Grant was an imaginary boy that she would talk about, and that is why she was bullied.
Skye's memory of Grant wasn't brilliant as it was so long ago, and most of the time he was forgotten but certain things triggered her memory of them together, him kissing and embracing her tightly...his smile.
When Skye got home from school each day she would go to her room and study with loud music on. She hated people. No. She hated being close to people. Every person she was close to, she would lose, her parents, Jemma and Leo and most of all... Grant.
