Chapter 7

It's been days since we left home and visited London. Everything's good so far. Had a good friend as well, Chelsea seems to be my sister already. Zeke's been enjoying so far, Aunt Thessa's been really great and she seems loving her life since we came over. Also had the chance to hang out with the lads the whole week. They'll be back to work tomorrow, kind of sad but happy since they're about to do some new tunes.

I woke up early in the morning, at exactly 5am. I checked my phone and got heaps of messages.

3 missed calls from Mum

1 missed call from Niall

5 messages from Chels

1 message from Niall

What's up with Chelsea? I opened her messages and it was all greetings. She even texted me to say HI to One Direction. This girl needs to calm herself down. I opened Niall's message as well.

"Hey Hann. Big day tomorrow, wanna do some hang out tonight? Bring Zeke with you. Sorry I texted you early in the morning. Have a great day! Niall x"

Yeah, big day tomorrow, and I'll be stuck at home, bored. Well, Aunt Thessa's around as well as Zeke and Chelsea. I went to bed, pulled my iPod and listened to some chill songs. Currently attached to Shane Harper, such a good artist. Dancing in the Rain is on and all I did was closed my eyes, and enjoy the music.

I fell back to sleep and Zeke just barged in the room.

"Whoa Zeke! Hang on buddie." I exclaimed. "You scared the hell out of me."

"Sorry, I got a message from mum." It looks like he's crying.

I decided to let him stay for awhile and tell me what happened.

"What is it?" I asked while letting him sit.

"Grandpa's dead." He looked down. Tears stream down to his face.

His grandpa's such a lovely person, I treated him as my second grandad already. It was painful to hear it, I can't believe he passed away. He was so energetic and even gave us luck as we were about to travel from Aussie to London. It hurts a lot. All I did was cry and leaned my head on Zeke's shoulder.

Aunt Thessa quickly rushed into the room, and saw us both crying.

"What happened here?" She kneeled and took our hands.

"Grandpa died last night." Zeke said, trying his best to sound okay.

"Oh my gosh Zeke. I'm so sorry to hear that sweetie." Aunt Thessa hugged Zeke and buried his head on me.

Aunt Thessa let Zeke cried for minutes, she just want him to let it out. I wiped his tears and decided to lean his head on my shoulder.

"You should go home Zeke." I told him.

"But I promised your parents to guide you."

"No. You need to see grandpa. You need to cry for him, you need to help your family out in this current situation. You can't just ignore it like it never happened. I'll be fine, Aunt Thessa's here with me, and Chelsea." I explained while I gently touched his cheek.

"But-"

"Listened to me, I can't just let you forget it, your family needs you. It'll be much better for you to go back." I took his hands and looked at him. "Grandpa needs you."

"Hannah's right Zeke. I can take care of Hannah, and she's responsible, so it'll not be a sweat. You need some spare time honey." Aunt Thessa agreed.

He took time to think, and he decided to go home just for his grandpa. I helped him packed his suitcase and we drove him to the airport. I hugged him as we reached the airport and then he went to the waiting lounge. We went home directly after Zeke proceeded to the waiting lounge. I texted him.

"Gonna miss you buddie. Take care. Let it all out, don't waste time. Love you. Hann xx"

As we reached home, I was all down, like a car just dropped in my body and felt like I can't move or anything. It was painful to see him leave. We've been planning to explore London together, it took us months to promise each other, that's how great we get along. And now, he's about to reach home. I'm gonna miss him heaps.

I sat in the couch and watched TV thinking it will cheer me up, but it didn't.

"Thinking about Zeke?" Aunt Thessa asked while getting in to the family room.

"Yeah. He's away now. I don't know what else to do." I hugged my pillow and turned the TV off.

"Well, he needs to go home. And it was your idea, telling him to go home. He needs some time sweetie. He'll be back as soon as he's alright." She tried to cheer me up. She grabbed the remote and turned back the TV on.

"Oh hey, it's One Direction." Aunt Thessa said.

"Yeah. I nearly forgot, Niall invited to go hang at their flat tonight." I pulled my phone.

"Well, you should go. I mean they'll be off to work tomorrow. And Niall really likes you, so why not give him a chance?" She teased me.

"Don't be silly. He told me to bring Zeke with me though." I looked down and sad again.

"Now now. Just let it go. How about you bring Chelsea with you?"

"What?! She's like a dog the last time she saw One Direction. I don't want her to get embarrassed in front of her favorite boy band." I exclaimed.

"Give her a chance. Tell her to calm down.  Chelsea's a nice girl. I'm pretty sure she'll understand."

"Guess you're right. Okay. I'll text her up. I don't feel like walking to her place. Too lazy." I texted Chelsea as I put my feet on the couch.

"Hey Chels. Gonna hang with 1D tonight. Wanna come with me? Hann x"

She soon rushed at home and she was all dressed up.

"You're so pretty Chels." I complimented her.

"Thank you Hann. I can't believe you're taking me to One Direction's party tonight. I'm excited." She was all excited and sat down beside me. "Why aren't you dressed up though? Don't tell me you're wearing jeans and your blue hoodie."

"No you silly. It's because it's still 11am. Don't get that excited." I laughed and she pulled her poker face.

"Oh well, I just dressed up. What can I do?"

"Just let me give you some instructions. Don't ever fangirl in front of them because that would definitely embarrass us both. Just relax, talk to them calmly. And don't ever pass out."

"Are you kidding me? They are One Direction. I can't just calm myself down."

"Well, if you calm yourself down, you might chat with your man Zayn. Or better, he'll ask you out. Aren't you okay with that?" I smirked.

"Oh my gosh. That would be so cool. Okay, I promise to behave myself."

We waited for few hours and it was already 6pm. I told Aunt Thessa to drive us through, but I just heard someone knocking on the door. As I opened the door, it was Liam.

"Hey Liam. What are you doing here?"

"I decided to fetch you than let Aunt Thessa do it. It's gonna be a pressure." He explained. "So, where's Zeke?"

"Oh. He flew back home. His grandpa just died. But I have my friend with me. Chels, where are you?"

She was definitely excited. "Hi... Liam! My name's Chelsea, but call me Chels. I'm such a huge fan, can't wait to hang out with you guys. I owe everything to Hannah, she's such a good friend. Even though she's been staying here for days, her soul's really kind." She can't stop talking so I decided to pull her.

"Okay, that's enough. We have a get together party to go. Bye Aunt Thessa." I pushed her gently outside while Liam took her hand. I looked at Aunt Thessa and I waved.

"Good luck sweetie." She mouthed.
