MALIAS POV;

I texted Lydia I wasn't gonna go because I changed my mind about going. I was sound asleep until I heard something hitting the window. I ignored it, but it kept getting hit. So I finally looked out of the window after opening it and see Scott throwing rocks. He stops before he could throw another once he sees me. "What the hell, McCall!"

Scott, relieved, drops the rock. "Oh hey Mal, finally. Sorry about the rocks."

I let my head rest on the palm of my hand. "What are you doing here?"

He sighs and starts to climb on the side of the house and onto the roof in front of my window. "I heard everything."

I roll my eyes and push my hair behind my ears. "when do you not?"

"But that's kind of why I'm here."

I nod understanding. "Okay. So what do you want?"

"You know what I want, Malia."

I laugh. "Uh, no I don't. I know that if I say no to coming tonight you'll keep stalking me."

He shakes his head and rests my hands in his. I sigh. "Mal, I'm not stalking you for the record. Lydia told me you decided not to go, but I think you should come. I want you to come."

"Oh." I chuckle. "Well it's selfish to come here and tell me you want me to come so I feel the need to go. And the reason I don't wanna go to your stupid pack meeting anymore is because I don't want to find out who my brother is. I think that's a terrible idea." I take away my hands and lay back down.

He sits next to me. "And I know why you wouldn't go, but Mal, you really should. Whoever he may be, he deserves to live!"

"Why should I try to make it up to him? They choose me over him and he's gonna think I'm only rubbing it in my face if I go and find out. I don't want him to feel that way."

"You wouldn't do that and I know it because you're not that type of person. You have a chance to save him, okay? Not many people get the chance to stop a murder from happening but you do. Please Malia, you're his sister. His life is in danger."

"But I don't wanna look in his eyes and remind him they choose m-" He stops me, as he rests his hand on my face and gives me a deep kiss. I kiss back and then pull away.

"It's nice you care about how he feels. But what happened when he was a baby is the least of our worries right now. Please Malia. Come tonight. You care about him, deep down you know you do, so much and you don't even know who he is. That tells us all what a great sister you are or will to be."

"Fine." I finally give in. "I'll go."

He kisses me again. "Thank you so much."

I kiss back. "You're welcome."

LYDIAS POV;

Allison and I sit in the car staring at a picture of Malia and four other suspects of who could be her brother. I still think it's Liam. It HAS to be Liam. Even Erica thinks it is. "I'll tell you, Alli. He has to be her brother."

She rolls her eyes for the 383838833829th time. One more and her eyes will be in the back on her head forever. "But how is he her twin? He's like, two years younger than us."

I take out my phone. "Like I said. He was adopted. His adoptive parents aged him younger, and you know, he always said he feels older than he is."

She nods as if she'd understand. "Right. But this sounds so... illogical. His biological parents were both apparently not ready, but why would they keep Malia if they weren't ready? Why wouldn't they give Malia away too?"
