Chapter VI: A Wound to Be healed

"Erika."

I am awoken by my brother as we journey back to Renais.

"Mhm"

"Erika."

"What?"

"Are you ok? I know how much you despise war."

"*Sigh* I can't hide anything from you can I? True I despise war  but there's a reason why I took up the sword you know."

We arrived in Renais greeted by an uproar of cheers. Brother scratched his head confusingly.

"What is wrong with these people? You'd expect them to be throwing tomatoes at me or something"

I sighed about to answer his  question, but interrupted by rapid footsteps.

"EPPPPPPPPPHHHHHHHHRRRRRAAAAAAIIIIIIIMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Tana immediately hugged us after one step in Renais. 

"Ow Tana, you're choking me right now."

"O-Oh, sorry Ephraim! Er-Who is she?"

Tana points to y/n  who has said not a word so far.

Y/N falls immediately realizing that she has been brought into the conversation.

Tana Pov 

"Who's that?"

A girl wearing a blue robe with a jeweled crown encrusted on her forehead. She seemed to have fallen immediately when I mention her.

"Are you alright y/n?"

I watch Ephraim who has caught her half way through.

"Yes and no." She pouts in a way that can only be described as..... childish.

"But... I should be asking you the same thing."

Now it's my dearest Ephraim's turn to fall.

"Wh-Why do you ask?"

"I can sense auras. Your left shoulder and stomach have a wound."

This is my chance! I quickly volunteer to help bandage before someone else can get the opportunity to volunteer themselves. For.....reasons~

"Uh,no Tana. I don't want you cutting one of Renais's stronger men to pieces"

My big jerky brother,Innes steps in to join us.

"Brother you are just cruel! I can bandage a wound you just watch!"

"No, for this one I'd like y/n to heal."

Ah, so the girl's name is y/n.

"U-um brother how do you know her."

"Oh she showed up at Freilia's doorstep, she was the one who brought Seth and Erika to us."

"AND HOW DID I NOT KNOW OF HER?!"

I quickly clasped my hand against my mouth, knowing that my manners have suddenly disappeared.

"You were resting." My brother says not the least taken aback by my line of rudeness.

"Speaking of which where did Ephraim and Y/n go?"

Erika stepped up,"Right there."

She pointed over to Ephraim who was stripping his armor so Y/N could heal his wounds,IN THE WILD OPEN! Does he not know of all the women in Magvel that thirst to be his queen?!

"Wait! Ephraim shouldn't you be doing this in the castle or something?!"

I can't let all of Renais see his well toned body. Then y/n and ephraim look at me puzzled.

Y/N speaks up." Er, what do you mean? If I'm going to heal him, doesn't he need to take of his armor?"

Ephraim nods in agreement.

Erika stepped forward scolding her brother.

"You know what? Brother just go to your room for heavens sake! You wouldn't understand but for those of us who do, PLEASE GO!"

She slaps her brother's back making him fall on top of Y/n.
