Bruce Wayne and his billionaire parents Thomas and Martha Wayne are just leaving the Monarch theater after seeing an play, Thomas says " We can take a short cut thought this alleyway"
Bruce holding Martha's hand follow Thomas thought the alley. A man leaning against the alley walls stands in front of Thomas, Martha and Bruce, "Watch, wallet, cash NOW!". " We don't want any trouble" Thomas says as he hands over his cash and watch. Freighted Bruce Stands behind Martha as the criminal Rips of Martha's pearl necklace. Agitated, Thomas tries to attack the criminal, the criminal hauls outta gun and shots Thomas 3 times in the chest, Bruce and Martha watch in horror. The criminal then shots Martha 3 times in the chest and falls next to a dead Thomas. Bruce horrified just falls to his knees as the criminal runs away. The cops arrive and set up a crime scene as a police detective walks over to a shocked Bruce and sits next to Bruce and said " Everything is going to we ok".
