*Flashback*
Emma's POV
I sighed as i put my last bag in the truck. I turned around and faced him."I'm gonna miss you." He said as he pulled me into a hug.
"Me too." I said against his chest.
'Remember our promise." He said as he held me tighter.
"I will" i assured him
"Pinky promise?"
"Yea" I giggled as i intertwined or pinkys
"I love you. He said as he kissed me. I was i to miss him. Us. I t wont be the same, but ill keep our promise. Me and Luke will keep dating. I know it isn't going to be easy since I'm moving to the other side of the world but well try.
"Bye i love you" as i kissed him for the last time.
"I love yo." He said back. I smiled lightly as i got into my car. I waved to Luke and a tar escaped my eye. I can see lLuke's eyes puffy and red from crying.
"I'm sorry Em." My dad said as we drove off.
*end of flashback*
'6 months later'
"Emma do you wanna come over today?" Andrea asked me.
"Sorry i can my dad said he needed to talk to me.' i explained she nodded and walked to her car.
Andrea's my best friend. She was the first person i met when i moved her. She's the only person who knows about Luke. Everyone else just knows i have a boyfriend. I don't trust any one but Andrea. She understands me because shes also in a long distance relationship.
I got into my car and started to drive home. I decided to stop at the store for some stuff. i got some shampoo, make-up wipes, pads,and some other things. When i went to check out, I noticed Brody, my friend,was working there.I decided to go check out somewhere else because i had pads and other intimate things.
"Emma, hey let me help you!" Brody said as he took my items.
I tried to avoid eye contact as he put the package of pads into a bag.
" Your total is 25 dollars" He said as he loaded the last bag into the cart. 'Here." I said as i gave him the correct amount of money.
"Thanks" He said and i smiled
'Bye" i said s i pushed my cart.
"Emma!" Brody called after me
"Yea?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to go out on a date with me tonight?" he asked as he looked me in the eyes, making me nervous.
"Brody I would love to but-"
"You dont like me." He said disapointed
"No no its not that. Its because i hav a boyfriend." I explained
"Oh I'm sorry" H apologized.
"It's alright" I assured him
"I'll see you later then." He said as he gave me a hug.
I continued to push my cart to my car and i put my stuff in the car. I got into my car and drove off.
*At home*
"Dad? I'm home!" I called out as i came inside
"Em good. How was school?" He asked
"I was alright." I answered
"That's good, but Em we need to talk." he said sternly.
"Okay. What is it about.?" iasked as i sat down
"Well something has come up at work and... We're moving back to Australia!"
"Really?!? I need to tell Luke!" i said as i got up and started to look for my phone
"Em were not moving until 2 more months." he said lauhing
"Thats too much time! Why cant we move now?" i whinned
"Sorry Em but we cant" He simply said
"Okay" I said as i pouted slightly
I got up and walked to my room. I decided to call Luke and tell him the news.
'Hello?" A girl asked
"Ummm Hi can i talk to Luke?" i asked unsure why a girl was answering.
"Sorry. Hes busy" she said rudely and hung up.
"What the fuck?"
Could that be his girlfriend? No. Luke would never break his promise. I know he wouldn't.
I decided to go on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. While i was going through Instagram, i saw a girl tagged Luke in a picture. A tear fell down my face as i saw them kissing in the picture. The post read : #2months. The tears kept coming and my breathing became uncontrollable. Why would Luke break his promise? I didn't. I feel so stupid.
He promised he would never hurt me....
