When Emmy seen Ryan when she entered the club, she immediatly had a bad feeling. Angry werewolfs shouldn't go in public, they should be venting, or who knows what they might do!
She watched him carefully as he sat at the bar and was gulping down shots like there was no tomorrow.
A few pack members asked if Emmy wanted a drink but she just waved them off. She was in a trance until Jake came up to her and asked her for a dance. She plastered on a smile and danced with her fiancee for hours, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was about to happen.
At around three in the morning, the pack was ready to leave. When Emmy was walking out of the club, she noticed to figures standing behind the club. Ignoring the phrase "curriosity killed the cat," she walked over to see what was going on.
Nothing could prepare her for what she witnessed. A drunk man was on top of Ryan punching him over and over. Ryan was groaning, and she was in shock just standing there until Ryan screamed like a little girl.
Emmy ran over to him and punched the drunk man so hard that she heard a satisfieng crack of the jaw and he was out like a light.
Ryan was bleeding alot, which made her notice the knife next to him. Ryan was stabbed! "Gosh! Why did he have to go be reckless and get drunk!?" Emmy thought.
Emmy called for all of the pack members that were still sober, and had them help her carry him to the car. The knife just so happened to be silver, so werewolf healing wasn't going to do any justice this time.
Ryan was rushed to the hospital, and a pretty brunette doctor brought him to the surgery room.
"Well, all we could do is prey," Emmy thought. He may have broken her heart and is really mean, but he didn't deserve to die.
