What Have I Done?

Brianna POV

THIS CAN'T HAPPEN!!

I'm dating Zach and I can't deal with anymore crap coming my way. I look down at my phone and dial Maddie's number as quick as I could...

And then I did it again slowly because i'm not good with buttons.

I got up off of Jonah and Daniel's bed as I paced around the room nervously, as the phone rung continuously in my ear.

"YOU'RE FRIENDS WITH DANIEL SEAVEY!?!" Her voice echoed through my phone loudly.

"How do you know that?!" I replied instantly as I pressed the speaker button so she didn't bust my ear drum.

"I have my ways. Why didn't you tell me!?" She asked as if she was betrayed.

"I didn't know he was that Daniel! I swear Maddie, this can't happen!" I sighed, pacing back and fourth again as my leg brushed up against the blanket that fell off the sides of the bed.

"Why not! You can finally date him!" She giggled, making me even more nervous.

I knew she would say that.

"No I can't!" I responded sadly, wanting to explode.

"Why?"

"Because I love his best friend!" I said a bit louder than I intended. I could feel her gasp through my phone screen.

"You what?!"

"I am dating Zach!" I sighed, filled with thousands of thoughts as I managed to continue the phone call.

"So you don't like Daniel anymore?" She asked just as confused as I am right now.

"That's the problem." I mumbled, hoping she would be able to connect the dots by now so I didn't have to say it out loud.

She waited a second until she finally said something.

"No, Bri you didn't.... You love both of them don't you?" She sighed. I can just imagine her placing her hands on her hips in annoyance and thinking about what an idiot I am.

The thing is, Daniel was my first crush... Ever! I used to watch American Idol a few years ago and the first time I saw Daniel, I had the biggest crush on him. When he was eliminated, I was crying for 2 hours straight and didn't watch the show for MONTHS.

(A/n: the paragraph above was based on a true story about my sad, desperate life.)

"Maaayybee..." I dragged on, turning my head slightly away from my phone screen so there was a chance she may not hear the guilt in my voice.

"I'm coming." She said blankly as her voice became unclear and non-existent.

I took my phone away from my face nervously and saw that she had ended the phone call.

No, no, no, no, no, no, this can't happen.

Nope it happened...

I'm in love with Daniel Seavey.

Again.
