Brianna POV

That wink. That wink meant something. What did it mean? And where did Daniel go?

"Bri?" Christina whispered, nudging my shoulder a bit.

"Huh?" I stuttered, snapping out of my thoughts.

"What's wrong?" She asked with concern ringing through her voice.

I was sitting on the edge of the small deck that the swing hovered above, deep in thought while everyone else was talking and Snapchating as usual.

"Nothing!" I chimed with a fake smile.

"You like Daniel don't you!" She whispered loudly with wide eyes.

Haha...

WHAT!?

I didn't even say anything but my heart rate quickened and my eyes grew 10 times larger.

"No way. I thought you were dating Zach!" She whispered again, almost loud enough for the guys to hear.

"Am I gonna be in this conversation any time soon?" I asked with my eyes no longer widened, knowing that I would have a chance to explain.

"Yes I like Daniel okay?" I sighed since I was finally able to tell someone.

"Than why are you dating Zach?" She asked with a confused look.

"Because I like him too. He was the first one to ask me out and Daniel clearly doesn't like me back so I don't know why you think it's a big deal." I explained quickly, making it clear that I didn't want to talk about this anymore.

"Wow. Ya see, this is what happens when you don't have a girl to talk to for a long time." She pointed out.

True.

"So what are you gonna do?" She asked.

"If I knew, I wouldn't have this problem anymore." I sighed, looking at Zach.

After those words came out of my mouth, I heard the door to the backyard open and I saw Daniel walk outside.

Of course, he was wearing the exact same tux as Zach and Jack.

Wooooww...

"Look away Briiii..." Christina warned,  forcefully trying to turn my head the other way.

I just sat there frozen.

"Oh my God." Christina laughed, rolling her eyes and walking me over to everyone.

"Who's the fool now?" Jack smirked, pointing to Daniel's suit.

"Why did you all get these anyways?" Corbyn laughed, shoving his phone in his pocket and looking at Daniel, Zach, and Jack.

"You can't look this good and not get a tux." Zach laughed as he popped the collar on his suit.

He switched his eyes from Corbyn to me, giving me the same smirk that I had fallen in love with.

"And what are we supposed to do now?" Christina laughed.

The guys smiles faded and they looked around the backyard.

"Uuummm. I don't know." Zach shrugged.

We heard a pounding against the gate which made us all jerk ourselves to face it. Panic ran through all of us as the pounding wouldn't stop.

I tip towed to the gate quietly as everyone behind me stayed where there were.
Every few seconds I could hear someones voice behind the gate.

It turned my head to everyone.

"What is it?" Christina mouthed, trying to look over the gate.

I just gave her a slight shrug.

The pounding began again but it happened a but less than before.
I was about to walk out behind the gate until I saw someone's head began to peek over edge of the gate.

I could tell it wasn't an intruder but unfortunately, it was even worse.

It was my best friend.
