"Prayers long forgotten and love shattered," said the preacher who had forewarned the people, "beware of the Masked Moon's lullaby for she'll forever put you in a dream world!" Mugs looked at his brother in confused while Cups laughed it off as if it was nothing. "Is he talking about Masked Moon?" Mugs asked with some confusion.
"One and only!" Cups roared with excitement and happiness. "I believe I saw her at one point!" Mugs looked at his brother with excitement, "REALLY?!"
"Yup!"Cups said, "I'm quite a lucky cup of a guy!" He and Mugs then walked away from the preacher who would talk endlessly about that myth of the Masked Moon.
It was a while walking to their home after taking a different route than usual via flying. After getting inside, however, Mugs kissed his brother's tears away once he realized that he was tearing up. "(Y/n)'s gonna be alright..." Mugs whispered.
"I can't help but to worry about her..." Cups whimpered, "I miss her...!" Mugs then held his brother's face and kissed his forehead, reassuring him that you will be fine.
After Mugs went to his room to practice singing, Cups went to the piano and sighed. "I miss you, (y/n)..." Cups whispered. He then started to play the piano, hoping it will soothe him well.
While playing the piano, he started to pour his mournfulness, sadness and sorrow into the song, making him emotional as ever.
His brother walks into the living room and comforts Cups after he finished playing the piano. "I know you miss her, Cups," Mugs whispered while nuzzling into his hair, "but it won't last forever..." He then walked him up to his room and kisses him goodnight.
A moment passed, possibly hours, Cups finally decided to shut his eyes, hoping he'd dream once again, hoping he'd see your gorgeous eyes, those kissable lips, those soft hands, because surely he misses you a lot.
Once in a lucid state, he finally saw the Masked Moon standing there, looking at him with a heartstopping yet breathtakingly gorgeous look.
