"After all this trouble and losses..." Cups whispered to himself, "I've made it to this place... somehow..." He then followed the Masked Moon through what seems to be an endless, helpless and dark hallway. "Where are we...?" Cups asked in a confused tone.
"You're not awake," Masked Moon voice echoed, "yet you are not fully awake... you're in a lucid state of mind, Cuphead." Cups stood back, shocked and surprised at the same time, "HOW'D YOU KNOW MY NAME?!"
"Like I said, you're in a lucid state of consciousness, Cuphead." Masked Moon said in a more serious tone. Cups nodded and continued to follow her through the helpless hallways.
