You were never one to go out and party with your friends on a Friday night. Staying in and reading books were more appealing than downing shots in a humid, drunk environment.
"Babe, let's go.." your boyfriend Jiyong was convincing you to go clubbing with him. You shifted around to face him and tilted your head in thought.
"I don't know, I want to stay in tonight and watch a movie." maybe the stress from work was getting to you. Nothing seemed to be fun anymore. Jiyong sighed and tightened his hold on you.
"Babe I just want to take you out so you can have fun. Normally I wouldn't want you to go," he chuckled softly into your shoulder. You smiled in response.
"Alright let's go for two hours and come back?" you suggested. Jiyong smiled.
"Deal."

You were sitting alone at the bar while Jiyong talked to some celebrities for a few minutes. One celebrity came up to you with a smile.
"Drinking alone?" he asked. You really weren't in the mood for this, let alone deal with some guy trying to hit on you.
"Sorry I'm busy" you tried to end the conversation. Your phone dropped to the ground and you grumbled taking your time to pick it up. By the time you sat on the stool again, you saw the face of the celebrity once again.
"I've been having a really bad day today. Would it be too much to ask of you to keep me company? Just for a bit?" You sighed, understanding his situation. It seemed as if the world was against you these days too. WOrk was tough and your coworkers were even worse. You decided to stay as you picked up your glass to drink when all of the sudden your drink was taken from your hands.
Suprised, you looked up to see Jiyong's face, seething with anger.
"Sorry, but she can't keep you busy tonight." He spat out his words. You were shocked. Usually, Jiyong was considerate of others. Maybe he was jealous? The other celebrity sighed and stood up as if to seize up Jiyong.
You grasped the situation quickly and understood that Jiyong's reputation was on the line. IF another scandal broke out, he would be broken.
"Jiyong, please. I don't want this." you looked into his eyes and leaned against him as if to comfort him.
"I came to have a good time, I don't want to witness a fight, please Jiyong you have to listen," you said with urgency in your voice. You looked with pleading eyes and continued to silently beg.
Jiyong sighed in anger and broke away from the celebrity's gaze. Grabbing the chance, you quickly took his hand and took him to the back parking lot. He let go of your hand as he continued to breathe deeply, in order to calm down. His fists were still shaking and his eyes were still full of anger. You knew to leave him alone for a bit before questioning.
"What's wrong?" you asked in a quiet voice peeking at him through your lashes. He sighed and looked up to the stars, silently debating whether if he should tell you or not.
"He put a pill in your drink while you were picking up your phone." he said in a hoarse voice.
You stepped back, drinking in the information, coming up with different scenarios that would have taken place if Jiyong didn't save you one time. Tears welled up and you started to cry.
Jiyong's heart broke at the sight of you. He could sense your fear oozing out of you, just by thinking about what could have happened. He took you in his arms.
"Don't worry baby, I got you."
