Unreal Oddessy

So i'm normal, I would like to think. But no one sees me that way…  I have one thing that’s well, uncommon I suppose. I guess what I’m trying to say everything is different to everyone else. Instead of grass, dirt, trees it's just paper. I live in an alternate universe that only i can see and that sort of explains my pearly white skin and eyes. My father is always around, but he’s dead and his ghost is now connected to me. My dear mother is unwell but she's in the real world, I really miss her. I have been alone exploring life in complete terror.  If i'm somehow exposed about who I really am that puts me in great danger. There's only one person who    knows, my friend Drax, he pretty much knows everything about me and he has protected me through thick and thin, i owe him so much.  Although he doesn't know one thing… it's probably one of the biggest secrets i've ever kept about myself. I love him… no matter how much he gets bullied.

Chapter One:

I walked into the school hallway in my everyday black hoodie, black jeans and tall black laceup boots hiding my face as much as possible. Drax races up to me

“Hey Jayden!” I give him a glare. “Look i know you don't like being called out  but i have huge news” he whispered. “Alright go on” i replied pushing back my hood. “Okay so as i was leaving class---” i cut him off “Did Drew push you down and punch you again?” i asked concerningly. Drax stopped and stared at the ground “Well… yeah. But that's besides the point. He actually got in trouble for it today instead of the usual blame it on me and make up lies to get me in trouble” “Hey that's kinda great but it won't happen again, you know that?” i said “Yeah… i know” he replied flicking his fringe out of his face revealing the huge purple bruise on his forehead. I turned my head towards him “Wow he got you good” i said stopping to take a look. “Is it worse than the other day Jayden?” “mm, no but let's get some ice on it” i grab his hand to drag him into the office “Hey Jayden do you wanna go for a walk after class?” “Yeah, sure” i say putting my hood back over my head.

The bell rings, i close my book and put it in my bag. Drax darts into my class “Jayde we gotta run!” “What?” He grabs my hand and pulls me out the door, we run for a few minutes and i stop just before the school gates. “Drax what are we doing?” i ask out of breath “I need to leave Jay… but i don't wanna go alone” “Well i need more adventure in my life but Drax... where will we go?” “Anywhere but here dude” “Ok lets go” i say. “Grab my hand!” Drax yells.
