To the first child of the family,
You always have been very dear to your parents.
You were the first one to teach them parenting .
They kept on learning through you. You are the person who's first birthday was the best day of their life.
You were everything , unless they got another baby at home.
You were so small that you didn't even knew how to get adjusted to these things now. You thought that , now onwards the love will get divided.
You were getting less attention and that thing was bothering you , but seeing the smile of that small kid made your heart melt.
If you ask me , that was your first step towards maturity.
Soon you started holding the baby , taking care of it.
You even shared your food with it. You had started becoming a parent too. Soon as it grew up , you got a new partner to play. You were no more alone , you got your own partner in crime. As you grew up both , you were a part of same school.
Everyone started to behave properly with the little one , because they knew that you were there to protect it.
You played different roles at a very small age. Soon you grew up. You both now became more close ,but the conversations started decreasing. That didn't mean that u didn't fight . You fought, but now verbally. You became each others saviour from parents scolding.
You made them understand the little one's point of view.
Even you made the little one understand many things .
You became mature a bit early .
Now you had responsibilities .
You had to move to different town to study , to work so that you could do better for your family.
You started understanding parents more.
Obviously you missed everyone, especially your champ , but u never expressed.
You became dad's pride and mom's strength. But for that little one you were still the same.
You always made sure that what all you didn't get or you ever wanted to do in you life , you made sure that the little one didn't compromise on that. You had the least but ,you always gave the little one the best. It was hard for you to stay away, but u had to become strong.
You sacrificed so much. Some told and most of them untold. You managed to keep everyone happy . All you did was live for them .
they won't every say this to you but they appreciate this.
