MattEdd - Hidden love

Sleepless

Matt couldn't get to sleep that night. He was wide awake, knees up to his chest as he hugged them and tears pouring from his eyes. Why couldn't he be the dumb one instead of the love sick one? He looked over to his clock, but he didn't know how to tell the time. Great.

He lied down, he at least had to get some beauty sleep, but he kept tossing and turning, and it was no use. He let out a heavy sigh and sat up, looking over to his mirror... WHAT THE HELL! Matt quickly got up and ran over to the mirror, he was a mess! His cloths where slightly creased, his normaly perfect hair was out of place and his face... his cheeks where tear stained and he had slight bags under his eyes. He looked out the window to see the sun rising then looked back in the mirror with a serious expression. Time to glam up. This kept him distracted from Edd, but not for too long.

Edd got up and streched, he started thinking about the night before with Tom, then he thought of the rest of the day with Matt. Edd sighed, he needed to talk to him at some point today. Edd got up and got dressed, heading to the kitchen and putting some bacon on. He could hear Tom snoring, typical.

Soon enough, Matt came downstairs. He never said anything, he just got out his cereal. Edd quickly realised that he was wearing foundation. "That's... odd?" He thought, but quickly brushed it off. Edd and Matt both sat at the table eating breakfast, there was an ajward silence in the room which neither of them dared to break. They didn't speak nor made eye contact. Edd didn't like it. Matt didn't like it. Tom walked in but quickly walked back out. Edd sighed, he might as well talk to Matt now.
