I saw the second film but I'm not gonna spoil it for those who haven't ;)

Matt and Edd walked out of the cinema after just watching Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
"That was really good."
"Yeah!"
"I'm glad you agreed to come with me."
"Yeah.."
"We should hang out more often."
"Yeah...."
"Matt, you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm, just fine.."
"Ok then."

They arrived home but when the door was locked Edd realised Tom still wasn't home. "That's... odd." When they got in Edd imediantly went into the kitchen to get a can of cola and Matt sprinted up stairs. He looked at himself in his mirror, holding onto the sides of it and leaning forward. "Matt, you can do this, just, don't act weird or Edd will suspect it"
"Suspect what?"
Matt whirled round to see Edd standing at the doorway, looking slightly concerned.

"E-Edd! Why are you here?"
"I came to check on you. Not even you have run that fast to get to your mirrors."
"Umm."
"Matt, what's wrong? You can tell me."
"I can't."
"Wht not?"
"I just can't"
"Matt-"
"No! I'm not telling you no matter how much I want to! I can't Edd I just can't!!" Tears where forming in the corners of his eyes and Edd was taken aback, Matt has never raised his voice like that.

Tears where now spilling out of Matt's eyes. Edd put a hand on his cheek and they where looking each other in the eyes. Edd opened his mouth as if he were about to say something, but was interupted by Tom. "I'm back!" Edd looked slightly angry as he turned away from Matt and went downstairs. Matt sat down on his bed as he listened to Edd shout at Tom. "Where have you been!?"
"Away!"
"Away where!?"
"Not here!"
"Where were you when you were away from being here!"
"I was at a friend's!"
"Which friend smartass!"
"..."
"Tom answer me!"
"I was at Tord's."

Tom then stomped of and slamed his bedroom door behind him. Edd was left standing in the middle of the room. He was so struck by what Tom had said that he forgot about Matt, only remembering him when he heard him slowly walking down the stairs. "Edd, I need to tell you something... I-"
