II. Intertwined (Day 1.)

"Good morning sleeping beauty!" Josh whispered into the sleeping blonde's ear making his eyes flutter open.

"Jesus Christ." Simon gasped instinctively pulling his blanket over his eyes to block out any light of the room.

"Not even a 'morning',  back." Josh huffed crossing his arms as he sat down next to the laying figure.

"Morning." He murmured with a raspy voice, muffled by the covers.

Josh rolled his eyes at his actions getting up from his bed. "Breakfast is downstairs." He simply stated leaving the half asleep boy dumbfounded.

Said boy slowly crawled out of bed and put on some clothes as his memories from the night before came back to him, making him realise why Josh was there to wake him up. Or at least he assumed that this was a part of being his lover, boyfriend, partner or whatever...

He'd dragged himself into the kitchen  where to his surprise he found Josh waiting for him with still steaming  scrambled eggs and orange juice.

"Bon appetit, Baby!"Josh chuckled motioning towards the stool that stood on his right.

Simon got the idea and took a seat beside him as he could already smell the delicious scent of their meal.

"Thanks. For you too." He smiled digging in.

During breakfast they chatted about anything and everything like they usually do on a normal day when the're not 'dating'. The only thing different from those converstations was that Josh kept giving Simon small compliments whenever he could fit one into his sentences smoothly.

"Yeah,  having a holiday near water   is great. I want to go back to Greece sometime." The older of the two said after swallowing his last bite and  wiping his mouth with a napkin. "The Aegean Sea has the most beautiful shade of blue out of any sea, I swear. They remind me of your eyes." He smiled waiting for Simon's reaction.

The blonde almost choked on his eggs as he was not ready for such a  praise.

"You don't have to do this you know." He stated when he was finally able to stop caughing from that incident. "Complimenting me just because of that favour. You don't have to lie..." He trailed off at the end of the sentence breaking the eye-contact.

"I wasn't  lying. You have pretty eyes and a pretty face. I just never told you, because mates don't say those things to each other like girls do." Josh shrugged getting up and taking their plates with him to put them into the dishwasher.

"Well then thanks." The blonde mumbled embarassed a bit. "And you also have pretty eyes  and a fluffy beard."

Josh let out a small laugh turning back towards him after washing his hands."I want to take you out on a date today, if that's okay with you."

Simon was truly astonished by  hearing that from him, not like it wasn't at least a tiny bit expected, but nodded regardlessly. "Sounds good to me. What do you wanna do?"

"Cinema?"

"Okay." Simon smiled running a hand through his disheveled hair. "When and what movie?"

"Hm... Let me check if there's anything good on the list of films."

The day flew by pretty quickly as both of the boys did their daily routines. Recording, editing then posting some stuff for their fans. When the clock hit 7 in the evening Josh told the guys that the recording session had to be over for that day without explaining why's that neccesary then.

Simon hearing those words abruptly exited the call and literally ran into his closet to pick out an at least decent outfit to wear for the night.

After he finally settled with somewhat similar clothes like he wore in his diss track during the gas station scene, he brushed his teeth and washed his hair, drying it and styling it the best way he could. Despite the fact that Josh already knew how he looked like, after almost four years of living together, the man had seen both of his sides when it came to looks, but he still wanted to look,  with his words, peng.
