"You seem happy."

I look up from my bowl of cereal to my dad and shrug awkwardly. "Yeah I guess." I wasn't too keen on having my dad know every detail about my love life. He had enough on his plate already with work and... Hermione Lodge. Yeah, I know about him and all that fun stuff. I was still waiting for the right time to bring it up. At the moment, I just stuck to being really quiet and distant. He didn't seem to notice. "Well. I need to get to school. See ya later, Dad." I say as I get up, saddling my bag over my shoulder.

"Bye, Archie." He replies without looking up from his paper. I open the door and leave my small house with a sigh, climbing into my car and driving off towards the school.

My mind wanders to the girl with the dark curls and the most amazing smile. I couldn't even begin to fathom that she was mine and I was hers. She seemed too perfect for me. Too good. Before I could think about it too much, I've already parked. Jumping out of my car, I head to the student lounge and find Jughead.

Jughead waves me over. "You're dating the Hemmings girl now?" He arches a brow in question.

"Ricki. Yeah." I grin instantly, thinking about her again. The curve of her small hips. The bright pink of her lipstick.

"Well. I'm happy for you." He smiled and jammed his hands into his hoodie pockets. I return his smile and nod as I see Ricki enter the lounge and meet my eyes.

"Hey, you want to meet her?" I ask him as she walks over and greets me with a cheeky slap on the ass. "Rick!" I shoot her a glare, my cheeks flaming. Jughead makes no attempt to stifle his snicker at this. Ricki only giggles innocently and stands beside me. My arm instantly snakes around her waist.

"Hey Arch." She smiles at me then turns to Jug. "And hi...?"

"Jughead. He's my bro." I reply and his lips curl up slightly.

Ricki nodded. "Jughead." She tests the name out on her tongue. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"The same to you." He replies with a chuckle. I have a feeling they won't hate each other. "I'll see you after school, Arch. Pops. 7pm." He waves and walks off towards his first class.

The bell rings a moment later and Ricki grabs her bag she'd set down earlier and slings it over her shoulder. "I'll see you at practice, ginger bear." She smiles and pecks my lips.

"See you then." I slap her ass and run off before her she can retaliate. "Revenge, little Ricki!"

I tie the white laces on my sneakers and pull up my cheer shorts, rushing out onto the gym to start warming up for cheer practice. I'm fixing my long hair up in a high ponytail when Veronica bounds over to me, having already been ready. I had met with Archie before hand for a quick make out sesh. I grinned as I thought of the bright red lipstick I left on his neck and chest and earlier and the pleasures I'd given him the night before.

Although I did momentarily forget the dark hickeys lining my neck.

"Ricki Louise is that a hickey I see?" She grins, a mischievous glint in her brown eyes. My cheeks darken and I bite my lower lip as I often did when I got nervous.

"What would you say if I said yes..?"

Veronica let out an inhuman squeal and hugged me. "Ricki finally got herself laid!!" My tinted cheeks turn even more scarlet.

"Shutupshutupshutupshutup!" I screech at her.

"It's about time. I knew he was the one you'd finally let rock that—"

"Shut UP!"
