*Angel's POV*
"Holy fudge balls!" I yelled, jumping to my feet. My brownish blonde hair was dripping wet.
"About time you woke up" my mom said, holding an empty bucket, did she just freaking poured ice cold water over me?
"Seriously... Don't you have better ideas of waking me? Now I'm soaking wet!" I whine.
"Get your lazy ass off bed and get ready for training. See you downstairs in ten, Angel" my mom, Kathy replied, well, ordered, but who cares anyway.
Let me introduce myself, my name's Angel, I'm turning 14 this year. I have brownish blonde hair that reaches mid back, blue eyes and stand at 5'7. I seem like an ordinary teenager, but truth is, nothing about me is ordinary. All my life, I have been homeschooled by my guardian, Kathy. But I call her mom, because, well, I just can. Okay, maybe because she takes care of me and we have a bond, like parent and child, you get the idea right? So, back to the story, I am actually an alien, although I look and act like humans. I have been trained in self defense and I have enhanced abilities like sight, speed, and senses.
I don't know much about my home planet, because Kathy haven't told me much, saying I am too young and she'll tell me more when I am ready.
I shower and change, then go down for breakfast. "You're late" mom says.
"No I'm not," I argue.
"It wasn't a question, Angel" she states.
"Fine," I huff and eat my breakfast.
"Come on, you owe me fifty push ups for being five minutes late. Hurry up and warm up for training" she says impatiently.
"Okay, okay, have some patience will ya?" I mutter under my breath. She glares at me and said, "I heard that,"
I rolled my eyes, "obviously, that's what your ears are for!"
Kathy sighs in exasperation," double the amount of push ups"
"Whyyy?" I whine.
"Triple that if you don't hurry and get your lazy ass to the gym within the minute." I didnt have to be told twice, sprinting my way down towards the gym. I began my push ups and then started to warm up when I was done.
Then, we worked on hand to hand combat and more physical training for hours. I was completely drained by lunch.
"Looks like someone's tired," mon snickered.
"Shut up, you weren't doing anything," I mutter.
"Alright, alright, I know you worked hard, lunch is ready. After that, we have something important to talk about, so you can shower and change,"
Finishing up my lunch quickly, I took a warn shower to relieve my aching muscles. After getting dressed, I strolled down to the living room.
"Hey mom, what do you wanna talk about?" I asked.
"Take a seat, Angel, this is important," she said seriously.
What did I do this time, I wondered to myself.
