Continuing on, "Both planets knew of each other's presence and were allies-" I cut her off at this point.

"Wait, were? Did something happen between the two planets to ruin their relationship with each other?" I asked, unable to contain my curiosity.

Taking a deep sigh, mom looked at me impatiently,"Can you not interrupt me? I'll explain everything, okay?" I nodded mutely.

"As I was saying, both planets were allies, and often sent envoys to how each other were doing, and as a measure of peace. Once, I was sent on behalf of your father to Drax. I was just 12 years old then, accompanying my mentors, and learning how to be an envoy in future. There, I met your mother, who was a couple of years older than me. We became fast friends and I told her about my home planet, since she was quite interested in knowing more, I managed to persuade my mentor while she persuaded her father to allow her to visit Saxus.

"When we alighted, your father was there to greet us, but mostly the princess, your mother. While your father attended to some matters, I acted as a guide for your mother, taking a tour together around the city. Your father joined us, and gradually, they fell in love-"

"That's so cliche, its just like these love at first sight romance books." I interjected.

"I'll have to agree with you on this." Mom admits.

"Duh duh duh, you don't say," I grinned.

"Ahem, moving on, they got married, and eventually Crystal, your mother, was pregnant with you and your sister-"

"WHAT?! I HAVE A SISTER?!" I couldn't believe my ears.

"Just... sit down and listen okay? And please stop interrupting me will you?" She sighs deeply.

Without waiting for my reply, she continues, "Crystal was pregnant with you and your twin sister, Alexandra. Word of their marriage has already been sent back to Drax to inform King Charles, your grandfather, of them being together. Everything seemed to be going well, and the planet was in celebratory mood, for not only the fact that their planet's elder is finally married, but also because this marriage also helped better the relationship between both planets. Disaster struck shortly after Crystal gave birth to you and Alex.

"This hostile alien race, Garia, seeking to colonize and overpower other planets, attacked Saxus. Destroying the ships prevented us from leaving the planet to seek help from Drax. The elders, however had plans. They sent their designated successors -which by the way is more than just one for one elder- to Drax aboard a ship in order not to have the entire planet perish. However, one of the enemy ships gave chase and tried to destroy the ship.

"Crystal was the only child of King Charles, and therefore his only successor. She did not want her father's kingdom to end at her hands, and she wanted you two to be able to grow up and be given a fighting chance. But most of all, she did not want any harm to come two the both of you, hence, she entrusted me with you, and Alex with my older sister, Katrina. We were sent after the ship, riding atop her dragon, Shadow.

"We did manage to catch up with ship, and realised that they have veered of course trying to escape pursuit of the enemy ship. Shadow tried her best to throw them off course, and was able to eliminate them, but not without injuring herself in the process. She wouldn't last long, and we had to land as soon as possible because the spaceship lacked supplies the treat her injuries.

"But we were too far off course to reach Drax in time, so we had to look for the next nearest planet ; Earth. It was the biggest mistake I've ever made..." she broke down in sobs. Seeing this, I could more or less guess what happened.

Jumping to my feet, I wrapped my arms around her, rubbing her back in an attempt to soothe her. "Shhh, don't cry it isn't your fault, mom, you didn't know."
