"Okay open your book at page 1!" The lesson got started.
While everyone was working on English, including me, I looked over to just observe what everyone is doing. I noticed Mr. Davis glancing at me, I quickly looked away and continued working on exercise 2.
There is this question I don't understand..1: move the auxiliary to the front of the clause:
Everybody is watching=..................I figured I should ask Mr. Davis for help and raised my hand in the air.
"Yes, Jame?" He said in a friendly tone. "Uhm, I don't understand this question", I pointed at my book. "Well, do you know what an auxiliary is?", Mr. Davis asked. "No..", I honestly didn't know.-2 minutes later-
Mr. Davis finished explaining me the question, although I still didn't fully understand it. He was still kneeling next to my side when he asked me: "You're clearly having trouble with this topic, I would recommend to explain you more about this after class.."
*Mental sigh*
What have I gotten myself into?*Bell rings* Class had ended, I'm walking up to Mr. Davis' desk. To 'have him explain the topic to me some more'. I seriously should have never asked about the question I didn't understand.. "Yes, Jame. Come sit in front of me, please." He said to me with the same friendly tone as before. I got up to sit in front of him, and put my books on his desk.
Instead of explaining me more about the topic, Mr. Davis sat as still on his chair as if he was watching a really good movie? "Uhm, Mr. Davis? Are you okay?" I asked him with a confused voice. He just kept staring at me. I decided to walk up to him to maybe.. shake him awake, I didn't exactly plan what I was going to do. His eyes followed me as I stood up and kneeled next to him. His eyes twitched with every movement I made."Mr. Davis? What's wrong?"
