I breathed in the familiar scent of my college, reopening my eyes and look around the mostly white painted buildings. I walked toward the only blue colored building, my dorm, Timmer. It's a three storied building and my room is located at the second floor, left wing. I walk through the familiar hallway, most of the rooms I passed have their door open, some freshman settling their stuff. I past the last room before mine, Aaron's. It was open, I peeked in amd saw Crus putting his guitar on the stand. Suddenly, a face was right in front of mine. I jumped.
"What are you doing? Girls shouldn't peek over boys' room, it's supposed to be the opposite." Aaron said quickly. I grimace im disgust. I clearly don't need to hear that.
"I wasn't peeking, I was curious." I said and he just chuckled, raising one of his eyebrows. "And, a little tip for the thing you just said. You shouldn't tell that to any girl, ever! It's disgusting." I said and walked to my room, unlocking it, the room doesn't really change, duh, but a little dusty after I left it for about two months.
"Oh man, your room is nasty." Aaron said as he leaned into the door frame behind me, after I stepped inside. I said a simple shut up and he just shrugged. I put down my bag and start to take out some new things my mom had given to me. A new clock, a new family picture, including my parents, my brother, Calvin, and my dog, Woolf. He's a siberian husky. I put the picture in a table next to my bed and my clock leaning against the wall of my studying table. I also put my Fall Out Boy signed guitar and the case next to the studying table, yes, I play guitar. And this one is my favorite, got it when I went to Fall Out Boy's concert for my birthday two years ago. Still can remember exactly how it went by.
"Aw, how cute!" I heard Aaroon cooed and I look over my shoulder, seeing him looking at the new family picture. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Put that down, Aaron, not risking it to get broken." I said under my breath. He chuckled and put it back down. When I'm done putting my new stuff, my nose feel funny. And I sneeze.
"Ah, hell, I miss that sneeze!" Aaron teased and I rolled my eyes and sneeze again. I sat down on my bed, rubbing my itchy nose. Aaron sat down next to me and laugh as I let out another held sneeze.
"Shut up." I said in mid sneeze, slapping his bicep playfully. "Must be the dust, help me clean up?"
"10 bucks an hour." He said, showing off his crooked smile.
"Hell no." I said stubbornly. "I'll take you to the Subway and get lunch, what do you say?" I offered, raising an eyebrow up.
"Sure, yeah, whatever." He said and we start cleaning up my room.
I borrowed some of Cruz's cleaning supply because he's a clean freak, lucky for Aaron. I was vacuuming the carpet while Aaron do something god knows what. Half an hour later, we're done. The perks of having small room; you don't use so much time cleaning it.
"Let's go to Subway!" Aaron yelled and he ran off the room, I followed after him, grabbing my wallet, almost running after him when I lost his sight for a second. There's a Subway just across the college main gate, and it's full of students from the college. Young ones, the olders usually went to the more expensive places. When we're there, we both ordered, waited for our food and sat down at the chairs in the glass, exposed to the college, watching freshman saying goodbye to their parents.
"So, how's your holiday?" He asked with his mouth full and his eyes were locked into some girls that reach his sight, typical Aaron.
"Well, it wasn't that bad like I imagine it would be, my dad take me and my sister to the-"
"Oh my gosh, shh! There's a rate 9 girl staring at me." He said and I sighed, this happens everytime.
"Whatever." I said and continue chewing my food and Aaron was raising his eyebrows, eyeing the girl that was looking at him, blushing slightly. I rolled my eyes.
"Ken, hurry up! I need to introduce myself to her." He said and take a huge by each time, swallowing sloppily. When he's done, I wasn't done, but he dragged me anyway. When we're in front of her, he start. He start with all his might, flirting and stuff. I learn that her name is Lola and she's still 19 and came from some small town in Texas, explaining her accent. She have a raven curly hair and grey eyes, his type of girl.
"Alright, see you later then?" Lola said and Aaron said a simple 'totally'. I didn't know the conversation was over, I wasn't really listening. And she walked away.
"Wow, let's get back." He said and walked back toward the university. I followed closely behind him.
"You know, it's just the beginning of sophomore year, and you had only text two weeks ago saying that you broke up with Lacey," his last girlfriend, "And now you already have a future girlfriend."
"Well, missy, that's just how our life works, you can't stuck in memories, you gotta move on!" He said and I rolled my eyes.
"I know, but you're moving too fast." I said under my breath and he shook his head.
"Oh, shut up and agree already." He joked and pushed me playfully. I chuckled and rolled my eyes.
