I couldn't help but let the sigh escape my lips as I sit on the swings watching the three packs mingle. After the first introduction with Amberle, her and Mika had made an alliance together. Lacey had found her mate, a warrior in Amberle's and Dominic's pack, and he had become the new beta in Hidden Claws.

"Hey." A voice fills my ears as Mika sits beside me, his eyes watching what I'm watching.

"You make a great Alpha." He says and I just nod. Silence stretches between us as we just sit there, the barbecue going strong as everyone enjoys the last day together.

"I'm sorry. I should have told the full story what happened all those years ago at the lake but your...I mean the beta at the time scared me." He continues and I turn my head to watch his face. His eyes had clouded over with guilt and I couldn't help but feel sorry for him.

"I'm sorry for rejecting you. It was the worst mistake in my life. The moon Goddess, your mother, had paired us together and I ruined it." He sighed before looking at me. His eyes held so much emotion in them and I couldn't help but reach over and take his hand in mine.

"If things had been different Mika, I would be your mate and we would be ruling together. We were supposed to have met when I was twenty three but what the betas had done changed our destiny." I squeeze his hands before letting it go and standing up.

"You'll find your second chance eventually but know that at least I'm your friend." With that said I give him one last smile before making my way through the crowd and towards my mate, my arms wrapping around Ariven as he holds me close.

"Can we go home?" I ask quietly, burying my face into his chest.

"Of course Baby." He whispers, kissing the top of my head.

Our pack says good bye to everyone, promising to hold a gathering later since we had decided that bringing all unmated wolves together to find their mates once a year was a good idea considering all three packs had gotten new members from each finding their mates.

Now we were on the road heading home and I couldn't wait to see the wolves who had become my family.

"So what do you think we are having?" Ariven asks suddenly and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"A baby."

"I know that Gem but what gender?"

"Well considering that as the fetus developed it's technically a girl till the genetics for the male anatomy clicks into place and-"

"Okay okay I get it. Jeez I just wanted to ask for names." He laughs out and I smile before yawning. Since finding out I'm pregnant I've been slowly feeling the effects. I've been so tired lately, just haven't had morning sickness just yet and I was okay with that.

"How about you sleep and I'll wake you up when we reach home." I feel his hand cover my own before squeezing it slightly and I nodd, leaning the seat back and letting my eyes close. A nap was a good idea.

"Is she awake?" A voice whispers some where close to me and I groan, snuggling closer to the comfy warm pillow.

"No but don't wake her." The pillow said and I felt myself being carried away as an amazing scent fills my nose and I smile. This was comfortable and I didn't want to move but sadly I felt the warm pillow pull away and I whimper as my arms reach out, grabbing onto a shirt as my eyes flew open to meet my mates.

"Are we home?" I ask sleepily, my voice quiet.

"Yes baby we're home." He smile and bends down to kiss my lips and I take this chance to pull him closer, a gagging sound could be heard as I pulled away to glare at my brother.

"I see some one found her mate. Does that mean I'm beta now?" He asks and I roll my eyes, grabbing a pillow and throwing it at Alex as Ariven chuckles.

"Yes. I'm your Alpha tho." My mate says and I couldn't help but let the pride fill me at his words.

"What ever. So when do I get nieces and nephews?" He asks excitedly and I smirk.

"Soon. I'm pregnant." I exclaim, watching my brother's eyes become wide as saucers.

"Duuude! That's my sister couldn't you have waited until after you married her?" He whines at Ariven and this time I giggle.

"Wait for what?" Lizaris asks as she steps into the room, a smile on the elf's face as she comes over and hugs me.

"Wait to get me pregnant. But I was in heat what do you expect." I answer back, a grin spreading across her face.

"This is exciting. I get to train the little pup now and watch it grow up like I did you." My best friend states as she hugs me again.

Alex caught us up on what we missed as we all headed to the dining hall to eat, pack member greeting us happily on our safe return. Starving I ate as much as I could, laughing with my family and when dessert came me and Ariven sprung the news about him being my mate and us expecting a pup.

The room was silent until everyone erupted into cheers.

I was finally home.
