~When 'us' began~ {A high school Charisk story}

The first day

Chara's Pov

"Chara" I heard someone say my name
"Chara!" But I didn't want to get up
"Chara wake up!" I pushed their face away and rolled over
"Chara we'll be late"
"Then let me be late you don't have to wait for me all the time"
"Mom told us that we have to walk to school together"
"And I said that I'll sleep in if I want to" that's when the covers were pulled away. I opened my eyes slightly.
"Get up"
"Fine" I got up and pushed her out. Then got dressed. I'm so glad they decided to keep the dress code to a minimum. No way am I wearing a skirt to school. I made my way downstairs.
"There's breakfast on the table. You can eat it on the way there" I barely took the first bite when she threw my bag at me and dragged me out the door.

"We made it!"
"Sure? There's not many people out here"
"Well yeah! They're probably in class getting their timetables and stuff!" I just looked at her and smiled slightly as I saw her eyes widen in realization.
"They're probably already in class!" Then she dragged me once again to our classroom. We got in just as the bell went.
I just walked to my seat in the back next to the window. She followed after.
The teacher walked up to us and gave us our schedule.
"Chara and Frisk Dreemurr. It would appear I'm your class teacher" I recognised that voice. I didn't want to look up but I did and I was right. Mr Gaster.
"Now usually I'd forget about any previous events due to it being a new year but I've been having trouble doing so" he is never going to let me live that down is he?
"I mean setting an entire science lab ablaze is not an easy thing to forget"
"Again I apologize Sir I didn't realize I put the wrong chemical in" oh right. Frisk claimed she was partly responsible for it. Why does she even stand up for me?
I decided to not listen to the rest of the conversation. I looked down at my classes for today. History, English, Language, Math, Geography and Music. Damnit. Those are some of the worst lessons. But then again I pretty much hate every lesson.
The bell went again. I put the paper in my bag and walked off to the first lesson.
"Hey Chara what you got first?"
"Maths"
"Hey me too!"
"Frisk you always have the same lessons as me"
"Yeah but it's nice to know we're together for this year too!" Ugh. I'll be lucky if I survive today much less the entire year.

It was such a long day. Frisk was in every class as expected and we were doing group work in every lesson. So I had to listen to her pretty much the entire day. Then there was a couple new guys who tried hitting on me and trust me they won't get away with it again. Then the walk home. It was surprisingly quiet. Mom always has to stay behind to finish up with work so we always had the house to ourselves for a few hours. I dropped my bag as soon as I walked in and went upstairs.
"We have PE tommorow!"
"Right!" Never mind. I picked it up and took it upstairs with me and got it sorted out. Then just fell onto my bed and layed there for a while.

"Chara I made food!" That's the one thing I actually enjoy about living with Frisk. Her cooking is amazing.

"Soooooooooooooooo what did you make for dessert?"
"Well since you managed to get through the entire first day without hurting someone I made your favourite!" She brought out a chocolate cake from the fridge. I smiled at her sweetly. She just laughed and gave me a piece then sat down with hers.

"I'm home!"
"Hi Mom!"
"Hiiiiiiii Mom I'm tired" I called down. They laughed at me. I wasn't kidding. I was really tired. Why do you think I was laying on my bed for the rest of the day?
Oh but I wasn't going to get sleep.
I had another 4 days of school to go before I could even think about sleep.

Yes Chara pretty much hates Frisk but trust me it's the first chapter it's going to start off like that
So I hope you enjoyed it and hopefully the next chapter will be here soon.
Also I would have had a cast but Wattpad is being a bitch and not letting me do that so I'm doing it the old fashion way
