I awaken to Disney music being blasted through the truck. Of course Mia has the aux cord.

"I've been staring at the edge of the water as long as I can remember ," they sing in unison. I hate them for waking me up, but honestly Moana was my jam.

"Never really knowing why," I joined in. They looked at me, smiling. We all continued to listen, and scream, Disney songs the entire time we were in the vehicle. The next hour is a blur,  I don't remember much of the surroundings, but I'll find out soon enough. Before I know it, we're pulling into the driveway of a beach house, our beach house. Once I stepped out of the truck I could hear the waves crashing on the shore and the smell of salt filled my nostrils. I examined our temporary home. It was absoloutley gorgeous. It's a cottage style home with two stories. I open the front door and step inside, breathing in deeply. The smell of wood and lemons is everywhere. My feet thump against the hard wood floor of the home. The bottom floor consists of a kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room, and bathroom. The second floor holds four bedrooms, a balcony, and another bathroom. The backyard is a sea of palm trees, white sand, and waves--our own little private beach.

"This is perfect," I sighed in awe as I sat on a lawn chair that rested upon the stone floor of the balcony. I stared at the incredible scene in front of me, soaking it all in. I looked around and noticed that the house was almost entirely made up of windows. Some are stained a light blue, allowing an illuminated light into our home. It gives off a good vibe.It looks like something you'd see in a magazine, and I would be staying here for the next few months, with my favorite people in the world. I step back inside the house, trudging down the hallway toward my new room. I set my suitcase down on the bed and pop it open. I examine the room I called mine. It had lilac colored walls with a black comforter spread out across the bed pushed against the bed in the center of the room.

We spend the rest of the day walking along the beach, splashing each other every so often. I really enjoy it here, I'm considering staying for school.

"Hey Mee, how much you wanna bet that you won't jump into the water and catch a crab bare-handed," Krystal challenges.

"Ten dollars," is all Mia says before jumping into the water, soaking her clothes. Moments later she appeared out of the crystal blue substance, a large red crab in her hands.

"She actually-did-it," I say in between laughs. This place has such a positive environment, and it's even better with my friends being here. I'm going to love my temporary home.
