"Dad, watch out!" The truck was coming towards us. Our car swerved but wasn't able to get into the grass before the driver hit us head on. "M..mom, dad!" I choked out, weakly. I had glass dug in my arms and bruises and cuts forming on my face along with intense pain in my back. "Mommy!"

•beginning•
I woke up, gasping for air. "Agony, are you okay?" My roommate, Ashlyn, asks coming over to sit on the edge of the bed. "Yeah, I'm okay.." I said, calming down some. "Alright, Mrs. Brown wants you to come down stairs, there's a couple here looking for a girl your age." I nod and walk to the girls bathroom taking a quick shower. Once I'm out, I change into some black skinny jeans and a 'Pierce The Veil' tank top along with my black converse. I walk back into mine and Ashlyn's room and brush my long, blood red, hair. When I'm finished, I head downstairs seeing Mrs. Brown talking to a young couple. They looked so familiar but, at the moment, I couldn't place why. "Oh there you are, Agony!" The orphanage owner says waving me over. "Agony, this is Andy and Juliet." Oh my God, I think to myself. "You're from Black Veil Brides, right? And Juliet's from Automatic Love Letter?" They both nod and I smile, "Cool. You guys's music is awesome." Andy smiles and looks at Mrs. Brown, "We want her." Juliet gives me a smile and I almost scream with excitement. "Really?" I ask, tears of joy brimming at my eyes. "Yes, really! Now go get packed and we'll get going." I nod and skip upstairs, happily. "Ashlyn!" I call into the room. "What are you so happy about?" Ash asks me, holding back a laugh. I could see why, I was never happy. "They're adopting me!" I squealed. "They as in Andy and Juliet!" I added. She looked confused for a moment than gasped, "You mean, but.." She tries to find the right words to say. "You mean to tell me that Andy Biersack and Juliet Simms are here and they're adopting you?" She beamed. I nodded in confirmation. "Indeed, that's exactly what I am telling you." I grabbed a suitcase from the closet that I brought when I first moved into the orphanage, and started packing the clothes that I owned along with my toothbrush, toothpaste, my posters, earphones, and all that good stuff. "I'll miss you, Ash." I tell her as I finish up packing. I finish packing and made the bed then carried my suitcase downstairs where I saw Andy and Juliet on their phones, waiting. "I'm ready!" I exclaim. Andy helped me get my bags and lead me outside to their car. "So," Juliet starts, "The orphanage owner said you never had a real name, right?" I nod then remember she can't see me. "Yes, but I've always went by Agony." I sigh. I've always hated going by that name because Agony means pain. I don't want to mean pain. "Well, we're going to go to the courts and get you an official name. How about Alexandra Rose Biersack?" She asked me. "I love that." I replied. "Back at the orphanage, everyone called me Agony because of me being the only one that survived when me and my parents were in a car accident." I say, "I hated my parents. I mostly stayed with my brother unless he was on tour which was a lot towards the end of his life." Andy turned back to look at me as we pulled into the courthouse parking lot. "Your brother was in a band?" He asked, a shocked expression taking over on his face. "Yeah, he was the lead singer of a screamo band called 'Suicide Silence.'" Andy's eyes widen. "Mitch Lucker was your brother?" I look down, tears forming in my eyes. "Yes. My twin brother." I mumbled, looking down at my hands.
