Ella's POV:
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside of my window. I rolled over and grabbed my phone to scroll through Instagram and send my snapchat streaks. My stomach started to rumble so I decided to go and grab some breakfast. I walked down to the kitchen where I saw my mom, dad, and two brothers, Michael and Cameron.
"Good morning sweetheart."
"Morning mom"
"Oh gosh. I can't believe that my baby is done with high school!"
"It feels like just yesterday we were sending her off to kindergarten" my dad chimed in.
We shared a laugh and I grabbed a bowl. I filled it with Honey Nut Cheerios (the best) and milk.
"Are you going downtown again today?" my mom asked me
"I was planning on it. Why? Did you have something else planned?"
"Well your cousins are coming up for a visit"
"That's perfect! Jonahs a great singer so he can help me improve"
My mom smiled at me and told me they should get here at about 2:00pm. It was 11:00am so I still had loads of time. I finished my cereal and headed upstairs to shower. Once I was done, I threw on a pair of black leggings with an oversized hoodie, and threw my hair up into a messy bun. I spent about an hour just relaxing then decided to do some makeup. I've always loved to do my makeup. Even when I was a little kid I would find my moms makeup bag and try out her products. Today I decided to do a natural look. I started to feel hungry so I went downstairs for a snack. It was 1:48pm so the Frantzich's would be here soon. I threw some toast into the toaster and heard my phone ding. I walked across the kitchen to the table where I had set my phone down.

The toast popped and I grabbed the butter and a knife. As soon as I finished cleaning up after myself, the doorbell rang. I opened the door to see Jonah, Esther, Svea, Zebulon, Carrie, and Tim. My parents, Michael, and Cameron came to the door and we all hugged. The Franzich's came in and we all went to the living room. We were all talking and catching up.
"Jonah did you know that Ella sings like you?!" my mom said. Jonah looked at me. "Really? Sing something"
"Um ok. Any requests?" I laughed. Svea wanted me to sing 'Something Different' which is a song by Jonahs band Why Don't We. "Ok. I'll just sing a little of it." I sang up until the chorus of the song and my family applauded me. "That was really good!" Jonah said to me. "Thank you so much." Jonah told me I should sing more often, and I told him that I had been singing downtown a lot, and had planned on going that day. I invited him to come along and he said he would love to. With that we got up, grabbed my things, and went to the car. We drove downtown and found a good spot to set up. It was near a coffee shop and had a few benches around. I had an extra mic incase Jonah wanted to sing something with me. "Should I set up the second one?" he asked. "If you want to. I brought it for if you wanted to join me." "I would love to!" He set up the second mic and we discussed what song to sing. While we were talking, a girl walked up to us. "Are you Jonah Marais from Why Don't We?!?" Jonah laughed and replied, "Yep thats me" The girl asked him for a picture and, obviously, he said yes. "Who's this?" she asked, nodding towards me. "I'm Ella, Jonahs cousin"
"Oh cool! Can we get a picture?"
I laughed and said sure.
"We're about to sing something if you want to listen" Jonah told her. She clapped and stood in front of the mics. As we were singing, people began to stand around us. By the time we decided to be finished for the day, there was nearly 100 people standing around! This was by far my biggest turn out.
"You're amazing!" the girl from earlier told me.
"Thank you so much!"
"You should definitely open for Why Don't We on the Something Different tour!"
Jonah looked at me and smiled. "That would be sick" he said. When the girl left I checked the time. "It's getting late we should probably pack up."
"Ok sure. I was serious by the way."
"About what?"
"Opening at the tour! We have a girl named Jasmine opening, but you should definitely preform something after her."
"Oh gosh wow. I would love to!"
"Fly back to LA with me so you can meet everyone and if it works out, stay and go on tour with us"
"This is so surreal"
We hugged and went home. I told my parents and they were all for it. Jonah and I had a flight set to leave in two days. The next day nothing really happened. It was mostly just packing, and a little bit if shopping. I'm really nervous about meeting everyone because my hopes are high about this whole thing. I just can't believe that tomorrow I get to fly all the way from Ottawa Canada to LA, to possibly be able to go all around the USA and open for my cousins band on their headline tour!
