I was just as excited and happy as I was the first time I watched Ethan play.

The moment I saw him come out with his teammates running behind him, I stood up on my feet and cheered loudly for him, hoping that he'd see me and be a little less nervous than he was.

" go Ethan! " I laugh as I put my hands together and smile widely while I watch him laugh with his teammates and wave at the people who called his name.

Ethan always looked hot in his football jersey and I loved staring at him while he had it on. Especially when he was sweating and his hair would be damp. It was weird, but it wasn't my fault that he was just extremely attractive.

Once they started taking their positions and people have started sitting back down on their seats, Ethan looked around until he met my eyes and grinned widely at me before winking and putting his helmet on.

Fuck. I thought as my breath hitches in my throat and my smile fades away, slowly sitting back down with Carson, Kylie, and Riley staring at me in confusion.

I didn't know why, but I felt so triggered and intimidated. Fuck fuck fuck.

That was fucking hot.

" what was? " I quickly cough when I turn around and see Carson giving me a questioning look.

" what? " I ask.

" what was hot? " she asks and my eyes widened as my cheeks flush and my face drains of color in embarrassment.

" I just remembered a Zac Efron video that I watched before I came " I lie and they all laughed before looking away quickly once we heard the whistle and the game starts.

Why am I dumb? 

I mentally face palm myself before I remind myself that the game has started and I needed to watch if I wanted to forget that really embarrassing moment.

We were already winning and I couldn't stop cheering and screaming at the top of my lungs as I watch Ethan play.

I kept trying to get the fact that that was the same sad boy who was bullied two years ago through my head, but I couldn't. He was so happy and everyone yelled his name every once in a while.

It's all I ever wanted for him. Happiness. He deserved it and more.

My eyes quickly land on the people around me and in front of me as they all stand up and hug the people around them with wide grins placed over their lips.

They had won, again. It was what I had expected anyway. The school we were up against's team wasn't even that good, we always won.

I jumped up on my feet and whistled as I watched Ethan aggressively hug his teammates and throw his head back, laughing. His hair down due to how damp it was and his helmet in his hand, fingers trapped inside of its net.

My friends ran down the stairs to congratulate the boys and I went after them, grinning widely as I push through people.

I felt like I was about to pass out as I was trapped between two sweaty bodies until I aggressively pushed them away and apologized quickly, now rushing to Ethan who was laughing at me when my jaw dropped.

I screamed the moment I jumped into his arms, legs wrapped around his waist as I laugh and give him a hug.

" I told you you were going to do just fine! " I laugh as I pull back from the hug and he laughs but he immediately stops when he realizes how dangerously close we were, noses touching and bodies stuck together.

I gulped nervously once I caught him smirking, eyes drifting down to my lips before he licks his and if possible, his smirk gets even wider. I wanted him to kiss me already.

" kiss me already " I groaned before smashing my lips against his and he quickly kisses me back, hands squeezing my waist lightly as I smile into the kiss and place my hands over each side of his cheek.

I didn't care whether my friends were watching or not, at that moment, nothing but that kiss mattered to me.

And it was the best kiss I had ever gotten.

Ethan pulled back before looking me in the eye, eyebrows slightly furrowed and mine perked up at him while I smile.

He stared at me for a while, licking his lips as he looks at mine and then back to my eyes. I wanted to feel his lips against mine again and he was taking too long.

It was pretty noisy. People were laughing and still cheering behind us but we both ignored it and acted like it wasn't even there.

" are you going to keep staring at me for too long? " I ask with an eyebrow perked up and he quickly smirks before giggling.

" eager aren't we, princess? " he asks and I roll my eyes before leaning in closer to him.

" very " I reply before he smashes his lips against mine again and smirks into the kiss.

Some of you might say that it's ' too early ' and such, but please keep in mind that this book is not that long and is only a couple of chapters away from the end.
