The next day Carly and Rider stopped by Nicolas' house to walk to school with them. When they arrived Nicolas' sister, Katie opened the door saying, "Laurens, and Nicolas already left for school with two girls, sorry."
Before going into Creek Wood Monnie and Tabitha started arguing with Laurens and Nicolas. "What do you mean we have to register?!?" Tabitha almost yelled. "Why can't we just walk in and say 'can we go to classes? Thanks.' but no we have to register!" Monnie says sarcastically.
"I'm afraid that's not how it works. You see you'll have to talk to the registration secretary." stated Nicolas. "We know how it works." Tabitha said sounding slightly annoyed. "We just don't want to do that." Monnie said slightly peeved
Laurens led Tabitha and Monnie into the main office at Creek Wood so that they could get registered for classes. When they arrived in the registration office a short pug-faced lady with short flat brimmed glasses looked up and said in a sour tone, "What can I do for you ladies?" "We're new here and we need to register for classes." Tabitha told the lady. "Ok... names?" The lady responds. "Tabitha King and Monroe King" Tabitha stated once again to the lady. "Monroe King, you wouldn't happen to be related to THE Monroe King, like the famous actress?" secretary Louisa asked. 'Um, yeah me and Tabitha are distant relatives of her... so um, what classes are available?" Monnie replied shakily. "Let's see Miss King, there is Tech, Survival, Math, Science, Literature, Baking, Potions, and Drama that are not full yet. You have to fill your schedule of 8 periods so you're stuck with those classes."
The secretary hands them their new schedules, and they head out to find Rider and Carly waiting with Laurens and Nicolas. "So let's see what torture you get to endure first!" Rider said while grabbing Monroe's schedule. "Ah hah! First you get the rath of Professor Everdeen, Mr.Banner, then Mrs. Beauty herself, and Ursula. Then tomorrow you shall endure Professor Granger, then Mrs. Tiana, Mr. Wane, and last you end with the adventure that is Persassy Jackson! Plus you get lunch with us everyday!"
Carly squealed when she saw Tabitha's schedule. "Oh my gosh!" she exclaimed, "we have the exact same schedule!" Nicolas looks over Tabitha's shoulder examining her schedule. "You have Mrs. Tiana, Mrs. Beauty, Mr. Wane, and Professor Granger today. Tomorrow you have Mr. Banner, Ursula, Professor Granger, and finally Mr. Jackson. But, sadly you don't have lunch with us."
"But, you have lunch with me!" Carly exclaimed. "Well, that's a joy." Tabitha said sarcastically. "So, what are your 8th periods?" Tabitha asked with genuine curiosity. Not you Carly I already know what you have" Tabitha asked with genuine curiosity. Nicolas, Laurens, Rider, all spoke at once "Drama..." Monnie looked around at the group "Wait... we all have drama together?" Laurens nodded, "Yep, it's the greatest class ever! But unfortunately it's tomorrow."
The bell rings for students to head to class but before the group leaves Rider turns to Monnie and asks, "Do you want me to show you where your class is?" When Monnie nods, Rider leads Monnie away to her first class, survival. Carly pulls on Tabitha's arm with a pouty face, "C'mon, let us go!"
