"You guys stay here for a minute, my mom wanted to talk to Monnie, Tabitha, Laurens, and I we'll be right back then we can eat." "Ok sounds good," replys Carly sitting down of the ground where Tabitha and Monnie slept the night before.
"So how exactly are we going to explain this to your mom?" Lauren's asked.
"No clue, we'll make it up as we go." Nicolas stated simply while all four of them slowly trek inside. Once inside, the group started to look for Mrs. Johnston. "Mom?" Nicolas called out. When he got no response he called louder, "MOM?!?" Nicolas finally got a response from his mom, which was "WHAT?!?!"
"Mom, will you come down here please?" Everyone heard a big huff and then a women who closely resembled Nicolas appeared at the top of the stairs. "Oh... hi kids. Who are these two young ladies?" Mrs. Johnston asked slowly. "Mom, this is Monnie" Nicolas said gesturing to the dark br
unette. "And Tabitha." Gesturing to the lighter brunette."They're friends from--" Nicolas started before getting cut off by Tabitha. "from school." "Nice to meet you Monnie and Tabitha." said Mrs. Johnston "So, what did you need Nicolas?" "aaa... Monnie and Tabitha need somewhere to stay for awhile while their parents are out of town, and Laurens and I were wondering if they could stay with us?" Nicolas said all in one breath. "I don't see why not, they can stay in the garage. We'll bring some sheets and bedding in there for them." "Thanks!" Everyone called in unison
They all ran back to the garage to grab everyone else and get some lunch.
