I look at the door and see it's just Travis and sigh in relief that it wasn't Aaron. Travis walked to his room and set down his bags then came out to the living area and slouches in the chair looking at me confused.
"You better make sure you didn't break Aaron's computer with how fast you slammed it when I walked in." My eyes widen and I quickly open it making sure nothing is broken or damaged and luckily it isn't.
"It's not, I didn't slam it hard enough to cause damage." Travis peeks over my shoulder at the website and his eyes widen.
"Yo, was Aaron looking at that, or were you?" I shake my head and close the website.
"Aaron was, it's weird right! We've only been dating for four months, why would he be looking at engagement rings right now?" Travis shrugged his shoulders and walked to his room and I could hear him flop on to his bed.
I continued looking through the site while attempting to remember when Aaron's classes ended so I could delete the search before he gets back. I closed my eyes and sighed going to the Google searches and deleting the search since I couldn't remember when his classes ended and it was better to be safe than awkward. I closed the computer and went to mine and Aaron's room doing my homework which seemed impossible compared to the homework I had in high school.
"Ugh! This is impossible!" I threw my book and papers to the end of the bed messing up my hair in frustration.
The door to the bedroom opens and Aaron walks in grabbing the book and papers organizing them carefully.
"Having trouble babe?" I nod my head and Aaron comes and sits next to me helping me through the homework then doing his own.
"What should we do for dinner? I think we ran out of things to cook last night so we'll have to go out the next couple days till we can get to the store this weekend." He looks at me and nods and pulls out his phone.
"Maybe we could go get tacos, that's easiest with the budget we have till payday." I nod and get out of bed slipping on my sandals and Aaron puts on his Nike's.
"Let's go, Travis! Me and Aaron are going to dinner! We'll be back in a bit!" I hear Travis make a grunting noise and I laugh going to the door where Aaron was waiting and we left heading to the local Mexican restaurant and ordering our food.
"Aph...have you thought anything about us having a future together?" I remembered what I saw on his laptop earlier and couldn't think of what to say, I couldn't even nod cause I didn't know the answer.
"Well...not yet, we've only been official for 4 months I was waiting to think about that kind of stuff till I'm gratuated." His facial expression seemed to drop when I said that, but he seemed to put on a flat face afterwards.
"Your right, I don't even know why I asked about that kind of stuff anyways." He avoided eye contact after that and it became really awkward since I kind of ruined any pathway to conversation.
