-three days later-

Kelly's POV

Wow, I really have no friends, no parents, and no life what so ever. I mean I have parents, it just seems like I don't. They are never really there for me.

I decided I need a makeover. Big time. Physically and mentally. Maybe even socially. I put on white over sized tee-shirt, that I think has a mustard stain on it. Oh well, no one will notice..I hope. I also throw on a random pair of jeans and my nikes. I brush my hair and just leave it down. I don't do that often but it needs a break from hair ties. I quickly run to the bathroom to put on some chapstick and a few bracelets.

I grab my phone and walk out of the door. I take the bus down to the shopping center and walk into the makeup store. Ulta, I think it's called, I didn't really pay much notice to the building. As I entered, girls about my age kept looking at me. One girl is currently giving me dirty looks. I mean I already know why, look at her. She's wearing a black knee-high dress, with a little hole to show off cleavage, and a bunch of silver jewelry. Her face is caked with makeup and her eyes are covered in black and silver eye shadow, she doesn't need to be here. Apparently, this is a must to be here for me. It's obviously an emergency.

"Excuse me?" I nervously ask one of the employees.

"How may I help you?" She says while looking down doing something. When she looks up, she seems a bit shocked but only for a second.

"May you help me? I don't wear or have a lot of makeup, and I want to try it out. I just don't what to look for I guess." I said shyly.

"No problem, that's what I'm here for. Would you like for me to apply the makeup for you?." She asks looking very excited.

...

All I feel are brushes and fingers on my face. I have no idea why I agreed to his.. Oh yeah, because I am not able to do it myself. I have no experience whatsoever.

The kind lady turns my chair around so now I am facing a mirror.

"Wow.. I mean..wow." I look like a completely different person. How could I have not ever done this before? I've missed out on so much. "Thank you so much. I love it." I say while still looking at how she covered every blemish perfectly, without making me look like that other girl. "How much does this all cost?" I ask hoping I have enough money for all of this.

"It's all on the house! It was my idea anyways." She exclaims.

"Thank you again" I walk up to her and give her a quick warm hug.

"My pleasure, hun." She says with a no teeth smile.

"Do you have any suggestions on where to get some new clothing?" I ask her because I have absolutely no clue where to go, and seems like the only person who's helped me so far.

"Erm..It all depends on your style."

"Well, I haven't really figured that out myself. All I know that it's for school." I say being one hundred percent honest.

"For school? I recommend going to Pacsun, Forever 21, maybe even Target. Target is more on the affordable side, just so you know."

"Okay, thank you so much again. Really, I appreciate everything." I talk and walk out of the store at the same time.

That was amazing. Almost as amazing as I feel..and look! Now to change my wardrobe to finish off the whole look. I can't wait to go back to school.

a/n - was that a short chapter? I feel like it was. oh well, at least it's something. I wouldn't read chapter 4 yet until I announce it finished, because it may or may not make any sense at all. Like I said before, MAJOR editing. I hope you guys enjoy so far! Love you x
