"Why are you here, child?..." whispered a voice. Lunis looked around. A spirit looking lynx walked out of the bushes. Lunis looked at the small creature.
"I am part of your spirit and I will help you control your powers" said the Lynx. As days went on training, a howl could be heard from one of the battle fields. "It's your time child" said the spirit lynx.
"Thanks for your help Miria" said Lunis as she ran down the hill towards the battle cries of war.
She whispered, "Elemental", and a light came over her again. Her wings showed on her back as she charged off the cliff.
Her paws turned ablaze with fire. Lunis scavenged through the air for Luke and Arise. She caught sight of Arise cornered with her sister and Dusk. She also saw two shadow warriors pushing a boulder over the cliff the three were under.
She flew over as fast as she could. She shoved them out of the way before they were crushed like ants. Ginger and Dusk didn't get out of the way in time. But Dusk was barely alive still.
"S-sither-r y-you kn-kn-know what-t to do n-now..." wheezed Dusk. Her body went limp after her words. They notice Lunis wasn't there.
They look then a guard of Dusk called out, "I found her". They walk over and notice she didn't move out of the way entirely. Her leg was crushed by the rock.
Three weeks later..
"She's waking up!" yipped Arise happily. Lunis slowly opened her eyes. "What happened?" moaned Lunis.
"Your leg was crushed and you have been asleep for three weeks!" said Sither from the corner of the den. Lunis starts to get up.
"Don't get up your leg will hu-" Sither almost finished. Lunis barked in pain. Kazern was interrupted but a small black pup.
"Can you just go to the exciting part?" asked the pup.
"Very well" whispered Kazern.
"When Lunis was almost completely healed from her leg, three wolves stepped into the camp.
"I demand to see your General!" growled a black wolf with red streaks.
A crowed started to form.
"What do you want with her?" snarled Luke.
"What would you like from our general?" asked Lunis kindly.
"I want to challenge them to see if they're fit for leadership!" said the black wolf.
"Ha very funny!" chuckled Lunis.
The wolves started to snarl at what Lunis said.
"Well you have been talking to the general the whole time!" snickered Lunis.
The three wolves were shocked.
"So you still want to challenge me?" questioned Lunis.
"I wouldn't ever drop from a fight!" boasted The wolf.
"You sure about this? She is a royal from the royal kingdom" whispered Sither.
Lunis knoded. Lunis greeted the guests to the camp.
"Well it's a pleasure to meet you Dusk" Said Night.
"Dusk? She died a couple moons ago" Said Lunis.
"Wait, Dusk is dead?!" whimpered Night.
Lunis bowed her head sadly. "I tried to save her and Ginger. The only one i saved was Arise. I almost didn't make it out myself" whimpered lunis, she looked at her crippled leg.
"Well who do I have the honor meeting then?" asked Night.
"My name is Lunis, Lunis Starry. I come from a shadow village from the north from here." Yipped Lunis.
Night seemed to had lost all interest in Lunis. "You are shadow guard then?" Night asked as if she was judging Lunis.
"When are we starting our challenge?" Ask Lunis.
"Oh yes, are you ready for your rank being taken?" snickered Night. They both get into their battle stands.
Sither steps forward, "Begin".
Night sprang straight at Lunis' weakest area. Her leg. Night's sharp teeth began to dig into Lunis' flesh. A very sharp yelp came from Lunis as she jumped away. The bite dug to her bone. Night was trying to destroy her shattered bone.
"Let's change things up shall we?" Night taunted. Night whispered a word and a ball of light forge around her. Black clouds swirled around Night.
"HAHAHA You can't win!" howled Night. The matter started to creep at Lunis' feet now. A growl grew in Lunis' throat. Lunis tried to attack but the black matter was squeezing her now.
"You want to see real power! I will show you real power!" Howled Lunis over all yelling and yelps. She jump high off the ground.
"ELEMENTAL!" she barked. Light flashed around Lunis' back. Her wings spread around her.
"You think you can win now?" Asked Lunis. Night came quiet at the sight of the wings.
Lunis's wings set on fire after Lunis whispered, "Elemental".
After that the battle was over. Night laid silent on ground. Lunis fluttered back to the ground. When her bad keg touched the ground she yelped painfully. She collapsed without a word. Her world turned black...
With Night..
Why did I do that? She might be the one i'm looking for! When Night finally reached home her mother came outside, looking stern and worried.
Her voice trembled as she spoke, "Where have you been, Night?!". Nights mother looked over Nights pelt and found many burns.
"What happened?" she asked softly. Night stared at the ground as she spoke,
"I found her... I found Pheonix". Her mother looked at her as if she was crazy.
"But wasn't she dead, we thought she died two years ago-" She said as she was interrupted.
"My queen, We have news from the camp" This was a guard speaking.
"What is it Fang?"
"We are under attack..." he growled. The queen gasped.
"Shall we prepare for battle mother?" asked Night.
"Send thirty troops to help the camp!" barked the queen. Night nodded and raced off. "OK 29 OF YOU FOLLOW ME NOW!" howled Night.
In camp...
Shadow warriors poured into the camp. Lunis was their strongest weapon. Now she laid motionless on the ground in the medical den. Everything seemed hopeless in the camp. In a flash, warriors from the kingdom were fighting at their sides. The Shadows started to back away. When everything was over a howl of pain came for medical den. Night, Arise, and Luke race over to the den. They saw Lunis trying to move around. When she saw Night she tried to lunge at her.
Kayla, the medic, had put her to sleep.
"Her pain has driven her crazy" whimpered Kayla.
"It's my fault..." whimpered Night shamefully.
