She gave him a short kiss. "How many times do I have to tell you? THAT wasn't a kiss!!" "If you want one come and get one!" Hermione raced of down the hall and disappeared into the shadows of the school walls.
Draco raced after her. Then he saw her. She was lying on the ground with a small cloaked figure crouched over her. Suddenly he felt a jab of pain all through his chest. He fell to the floor gasping for breath. The veela bond was stronger then he thought. He quickly sent a pratonus message before passing out on the floor.
Flash back
First year. "Wait untill my farther hears about this." "If I didn't know any better I'd say you were scared Malfoy." "Scared Potter. Unlikely." They were having detention and they were looking for the thing that was killing the unicorns. It was him, Potter and fang.
Then they turned a corner and a small cloaked figure was crouched on top of a dead unicorn drinking it's blood. I screamed.
Present day
He woke up in the hospital wing and emidiately looked for Hermione. She was in the bed next to him. Ron was hugging her and crying into her. She was crying into him.
That was it. Draco went full veela and cried out. "Get of my mate." He growled. Ron instantly pulled away. Draco crawled over to Hermione and gently kissed her. "Mine."he wispered huskily.
