Akin Ka Nalang

Chapter 3

• Angel's  POV •

Ugh It's so hot. We're outside and we're waiting for our sundo. Gosh, ang sabi, they're here na! But where are they?!

"Oh finally! My driver's here na. Bye girls" sabi ni Saphire. Buti pa sya grr!

"So, classmate mo pala yung naka tapon sayo ng soup?" - Sheryll. She's so chismosa talaga. She knows agad.

"Yeah. That's better na din 'no. 'Cause we're not classmates kaya wala akong mautusan. So she will be the sub" I said and I saw her rolled her eyes. I don't care.

Nag-usap lang kami nang nag-usap when my driver arrived.

"Bye girl" I said and nag beso beso kami. Nung nasa car na ako, I shouted at my driver.

"WHY ARE YOU LATE?! Do you know kung gaano ka-hot outside?! Ha?!"

"Sorry ma'am. Traffic po kasi" What? That's he's reason?!

"Traffic?! Then umalis ka ng early! Kesa yung pagw-wait mo amo mo!" Kung hindi lang sya kilala ng parents ko, baka matagal na syang walang job.

When I arrived, dumiretso na ako sa room. Nag n-nail polish ako when someone entered the room.

"Pwede ba?! Kum-" Nung tinignan ko yung nasa door. Napa-shut up agad ako. It's my dad.

"Why did you do that?" Nag isip ako ng masamang ginawa ko today. Which one? Ang dami kasi eh.

"Do what?" I asked.

"Bakit mo sinigawan si manong?" Oohhh that! Well hindi ba obvious? He's late.

"Kasi late sya?" I answered na nagtatanong. I rolled my eyes sa mind ko. Napaka sumbungero.

"Listen to me young lady. Don't ever do that again. Act like your age" he said and closed the door. Whatever. I'm the queen. I will do whatever I want to do. No one can stop me.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Come in" I said. It's our maid. And this time, naka bow na sya. Very good. I like it ;)

"Ma'am pinapatawag na po kayo ng mommy nyo. Kakain na daw po" Tumayo na ako and bumaba na. I can't skip dinner if nandyan sila. They are monsters. They will eat me if I don't follow their orders.

"Sweety, come here. Let's eat na" mom said. Umupo nalang ako and naghintay na serve yung food.  What is this? Sinigang? I stopped eating this when I was a child. My hair kasi yung skin ng pig. And that's so eewy.

"Uhm, I'm full pa. I'll go back to my room" I said hoping na payagan ako.

"Sit.down." dad said. Bumuntong hininga nalang ako. No choice. Hays.

After eating dumiretso ako sa living room. Boring kasi sa room kaya dito muna ako. I'm just watching la luna sangre. Kainis, ang tagal lumabas ng power ni maliah. I don't like waiting pa naman. Kausapin ko kaya yung director? Geez.

"Angel, your mom and I will go to Korea next week for business. May gusto ka bang ipabili?" Dad asked.

"Clothes. Pretty and expensive please. I don't like wearing cheap clothes. You know that." I said. Umiling si dad and umalis na. After la luna pumunta na ulit ako sa room. I'm watching youtube ng may marinig akong beep.

Galing outside. When I looked sa window, may naglilipat. Oh, new neighbors. I don't care.

Ginawa ko na ang night routine ko and of course, natulog.
