It's been two months. Two months since I spoke to the girls. Two months since I spoke to the guys . Two months since I dated Cole. Two months since I spoke to Kyle. Two months since I lost him.
Today is prom night and I decided I am not going with Cole. I broke it of with him last week. I had to go cos it's one of the most important nights of my life. Tomorrow is also my birthday. I now hang out with Mia and Lexi. They are the two meanest girls in school and the enemies to my old friends. I miss my old friends of course but they left me so I had to move on.
I had to pick an outfit . I decide to wear this for prom.

I decide to take my mums car since I am servicing mine. I drive to the school and give my car to the valley. It has a big banner in front saying:prom for the year 2016/2017 class in capital letters. I entered alone and everyone paused. The music stopped and all eyes were on me. I saw my friends at the corner staring. It turns out Brynn went with Will, Lilly with Richie, Jayden and Stacey as friends and Kyle was with...MICHELLE!! I can't believe he went with someone else. I thought we were...wait a second...I told him I had no feelings for him. It is all my fault. We stare at one another and he then looks away. He and Michelle start dancing and I kept staring at them.
I sit at a table and decline all invitations to dance. I looked back and saw Michelle and Kyle were gone. My friends ignored me for the rest of the night. I was all alone. Mia had gone back to la the week before and Lexi was sick. I walked out of the prom and went to the bench. It was where me and my friends would go when we were sad. I cried there until I saw someone in the distance. IT WAS LILLY! I ran up to her and hugged her. She did not hug back. She pushed me away and turned back to the sky. I started sobbing. T:I a-a-am so-so-sor-sorry I stuttered. I then started full on crying. She hugged me. I missed hugs. L:it's ok, pls stop crying. It's your birthday in a few minutes. I looked up at her. T:you remembered? L:of course I did. ??:we all did. I let go of her to see all my friends coming near to hug me. T: what are you guys doing here L:your not the only one sad we were no longer friends. We all came to the bench at different times and comforted one another. Then when you came we hid cos we were angry with you but when you apologised we all forgave you. Everyone nods T:am sorry you guys L:it's ok B:yeah W:just don't cry R:it's almost your birthday J:and you deserve to enjoy it S:totally I smiled at them. I had the best friends ever. I hugged them all again. T: where's Kyle ? W: he is still angry We then went back inside and soon it was almost midnight and my birthday would be in a few minutes. The gang then went onto the stages and made an announcement. L:if you all noticed the secret emails we sent to everyone, we are not only celebrating prom today are we? Everyone screams no. Some people look at me. I am so confused. Did they plan some other prom and forgot to invite me or did not invite me at all. I start to leave in tears. All my friends: what are we celebrating at midnight. I stopped. Wait a second... Everyone: TAYLOR'S BIRTHDAY!!!!! Everyone screams and clapped and yelled my name and yayed. I couldn't stop smiling and walked towards my friends. L:Now how bout we all go change into our party wear and meet here 10 minutes to twelve. Everyone: YEAH Everyone left and I went to hug my friends. They hugged me and hurried me to the back. T: But u guys what about me. I don't have anything to wear. B: no worries this is the second part of your bday present They led me to the dressing room and handed me a well designed set of clothes with jewelry and everything.

The girls did my makeup and I looked beautiful. I still had not seen Kyle since he was with Michelle. I sighed and then smiled cos even if he did not want me anymore I still had my friends and I would move on. I walked hand in hand with the girls and we went on stage. Everyone has changed and even looked more beautiful. We all dance on the stage and then Jayden went to the mic J:ok everyone it's time for the birthday dance. Can Taylor pls come to the center stage with her blindfold. I saw people moving to the sides and someone put a blindfold on me before everyone had separated.
They led me to center stage and then removed my blind fold. The lights changed. And soon there was a spotlight at the back. I saw the back of a dashing looking guy in a suit. His hair was brown and in the same style of Kyle. I walk down the stairs of the stage and towards the guy. As I got closer he became some more familiar.
I touched his shoulder and he turned round. I saw his face and it was....KYLE! I was shocked he smiled at me. K: hey T:hey K: well what are we waiting for. He put his hands on my waist. I put mine on his neck. We started swaying in the space everyone left. We were dancing so beautifully. He twirled me. He threw me up. He did everything the right ways. I rested on his shoulder. I missed his touch. His feel. His smell. Him. T: what about Michelle K:I told her I had feelings for someone else I blushed and we continued dancing. K: do u trust me T:yes He then threw me up into the air. I fell back into his arms and he dipped the same way he did at the hoe down. We stared once again. He leaned in and pecked me on the cheek. I giggled and we hugged. Everyone clapped and we stopped hugging.He smiles and so did I. I missed his smile. We started counting down 5 seconds to my bday. My friends came closer
5..... My mum is having a great time at work and my sister loves her new school and friends 4..... I finally dumped Rick 3.... I have the best friends ever 2.... Kyle and I are good again 1... And I am now seventeen
Everyone : happy seventeenth birthday.
Everyone clapped and Kyle turned me to face him. Everyone oohed but he ignored them. He cupped his hands in my face and kissed me. It lasted a few seconds and we parted. Soon we heard fireworks and smiled at one another. We held one another and looked at the sky with everyone. It was one of the best nights of my life. And it's all cos of.....................
