Gorgina's POV:
He drove me home and I bid him farewell. I smiled as he drove off but then I looked at Tristan's house my smile slowly faded. I sighed and turned to my house. I started walking when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned back and looked up. It was a jock, I could tell that much from his letterman jacket. He smiled and passed his fingers through his dirty blonde hair.

"Can I help you or are you going to stand there and wait until I fawn over you?" I asked in a slightly annoyed tone. He was a bit taken back but he was going on with what he was planning on saying.

"You're Gorgina right?" He asked, making sure if I was the right person.

"In the flesh," I said crossing my arms over my chest.

"Well, I was wondering if you'd go to the winter ball with me next month," He asked, rubbing the back of his neck. I rose an eyebrow.

"Do I even know you?" I asked. I heard snickers coming from somewhere nearby but I didn't investigate any further.

"Well, uh no, but we could get to know each other," He said, clearly not giving up. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Not interested. Why don't you go back to your friends who either dared you to try or are just laughing at how pathetic this was" I said turning and making my way back towards my house. I unlocked my door and stepped in, shutting the door behind myself. I sighed and leaned against the door. I closed my eyes and ran a hand down my face. I shook my head and got up, making my way to my room. I threw my bag onto the floor and flew face first into my bed. I groaned and just stayed there for a bit, thinking.

"Gorgina!" I heard my mother yell. Guess she finally arrived. I got up and sighed.

"Yeah, mom?!" I yelled back. I didn't know why she had called my name after I had come home since it was rare for her to do that.

"Can you come here?" She asked. When she had said this I was already halfway down the stairs. I continued on my way and found her in the kitchen, a phone in her hand. I rose an eyebrow as I laid my eyes on this.

"Mom, what is it?" I asked. My curiosity grew as she put the phone down.

"I didn't know that Luis and Opal are in town. Did you plan on telling me?" She asked. I shrugged and pushed my hair back.

"I didn't think it mattered," I replied. My mother nodded and walked to me. She flicked my forehead and I gaped at her.

"Of course it would matter, those kids are like my other children," She said rolling her eyes before going to her room. I scoffed and let out a chuckle.

"You called me down to tell me that?!" I yelled at her

"Yeah!" She yelled back in return I rolled my own eyes this time and trudged my way back upstairs. I sighed and plopped back down on my bed. I had no reason to come down those stairs yet I did it. Eh, whatever.

......

It's been a few hours and I've just been staring at the ceiling, wondering what I've been doing with my life so far. Suddenly a ringing in my pocket broke me away from my thoughts. I sighed and fished my phone from my pocket. I felt my blood run cold when I saw the name that flashed on the screen

Crimson

What did he want from me now? I reluctantly answered and lifted the phone to my ear.

"Cara mia~ I'm glad you answered," He said and I could almost hear the smirk he had on his face. I sighed and sat up on my bed.

"What do you what Crimson?" I asked coldly. He deserved none of my friendliness.

"Why ask such a question when you know the answer? It never changes after all. When will you come back to me, Cara Mia?" He said, a bit of his accent shining through. Crimson's Italian accent only came through when he really wanted something, like now.

"Never. You know I gave all that up when I moved. I'm different now" I said, the anger boiling up inside of me. Crimson let out a laugh and my grip on the phone tightened.

"Ah~ still playing these jokes on me, are you? I made you that way, you won't be able to change. You know you still love me" He replied cockily. I scoffed and rolled my eyes, not really caring if I had done it when he couldn't see.

"I never did and never will love you. Goodbye Crimson. Stay out of my life" I snapped. Crimson laughed and sighed.

"You know I won't let you go that easily. You'll always be mine" He said before ending the call. Why had he called me? God only knows what he'll do if he finds me again. I sigh and rub my temples. I need some sleep.

The morning came as fast as the night had left. I woke up curled into a ball of blankets and flesh. I broke free from my little prison I made for myself then stood up. I walked to my closet and pulled out an outfit. I chose a white crop-top with black edges, Black skinny jeans, and Black Sneakers. I wasn't trying to impress anyone today, and I surely wasn't going to make anyone jealous. I just hoped to get through the day without any incidents.

Oh boy was I wrong...

As soon as I got to the school a ring of people was formed around two bodies, fists flying and small grunts emanating from them. I rushed to the front of the crowd and let a gasp escape my lips. The two idiots fighting... were Luis and Tristan. I sighed and walked into the fight. A couple of the fight watchers heckled me to get out and let them go on but I couldn't watch as two people who I loved dearly to fight for dear life. I had gotten close enough to separate them but not far enough to miss their range of attack. A clenched fight found its way into my jaw and my head turned with the force. This caused the crowd around us to gasp at the plot twist that had just occurred.

"Shit, Gorgie, did I hit you?! That was meant for the other bastard!" Luis seethed. I looked at him, a menacing look in my eyes. I could practically smell the fear on him.

"Both of you, my car now" I growled out. I turned on my heel and headed for my car. The crowd split in two and let me past. Luis and Tristan looked worriedly at each other despite fighting the moment before. Those two knuckleheads followed me anyway. Once the three of us reached my car I glared at the two boys.

"What the fuck do you think you two are doing?" I seethed. The two gulped because of the tone I had in my voice.

"Listen, shortcake-" Tristan started, but was quickly cut off by me.

"No, no lies or excuses, tell me what the fuck you two think you were doing?!" I yelled. Luis sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"He started talking about he was getting you back and I just got annoyed. You know how protective I am of you Gorgie," Luis started. I scoffed and shook my head.

"I thought you would be a help but honestly you're not doing anything like I thought. And now this? Luis, you are so not the guy I used to be with," I said sighing. I then turned and faced Tristan, examining the small bruise that had formed on his cheek

"And you. Who said I was yours to win back? You messed up, you know that. You had a chance to correct that and you still screwed up. It's your fault. Don't you two fight again or I'm done with both of you," I said, walking off and leaving two dumbfounded boys behind me. I was mad at Luis for punching Tristan hard enough that there was a bruise but I was also mad at Tristan for hurting Luis. What is up with me and my feelings?!
