Sherlock looked up as Ariel walked into their living room all dressed up.
Ariel smiled at Sherlock and noticed other man in chair across from his.
"Sher? Greg said he needs your help."
Sherlock scoffed.
"I don't care."
Ariel smirked.
"He said you'll love this case."
Sherlock looked at her with a twinkle in his eye.
"Goodbye."
He took his coat as the man huffed.
"Sherlock, we were suppose to talk."
Sherlock smiled sarcastically.
"You can talk to Ariel."
With that said he left. Ariel looked up at the man.
"I'm Ariel."
Man took her hand and kissed her hand.
"Mycroft Holmes."
Ariel grinned.
"I was just about to go to that nice restaurant down the street. Would you care to join me?"
Mycroft looked surprised at the woman. She was very blunt.
Ariel smiled.
"I would like to get to know the man that is holding our government together."
Mycroft smiled.
"Alright, Miss Wood."
Ariel smiled at Mycroft as the two sat at a restaurant.
"So Sherlock is your younger brother?"
Mycroft nodded.
"Yes. Do you have any siblings?"
Ariel shook her head.
"No. I had only my father but he died two months ago."
Mycroft sighed.
"I'm sorry to hear that."
Ariel smiled.
"Thank you."
Waiter walked to their table and smiled at Ariel.
"Good evening, Miss. What can I get you?"
Mycroft clenched his jaw at the not so subtle flirting.
Ariel just grinned at the man.
"I would like a tiramisu and a bottle of your finest red wine. Mycroft?"
Mycroft glared at the waiter.
"I'll have the same as lady."
Waiter nodded and winked at Ariel.
Ariel looked up at Mycroft and smiled.
"My father loved red wine. He always drank one glass per day."
Mycroft softened.
"My father is the same. He says it's his favourite drink and if he could live on wine he would."
Ariel giggled and Mycroft felt his heart beating faster.
"I would like to meet your father sometime."
Mycroft smiled gently.
"I'm sure you will."
Waiter came back and handed Ariel her food first.
"Tiramisu and wine for lovely lady. And here you go sir."
Ariel smiled but Mycroft glared at the waiter.
"It would be lovely if you could refrain yourself from flirting with every female person in this room. Especially when they are not here alone and not interested in you."
Waiter stuttered.
"I wasn't..."
Mycroft nodded.
"I'm sure. I believe you have a fiance waiting for you at home. Don't you?"
Waiter blushed and walked away.
Ariel giggled at Mycroft. Her green eyes twinkling in amusement.
"Thank you, Mycroft. I was getting a little uncomfortable with his starring."
Mycroft smiled.
"He should learn some manners."
Ariel nodded and they started eating and talking.
Mycroft took her home that night.
"I hope to see you soon, Ariel."
Ariel smiled.
"You too, Mycroft. Goodnight."
Mycroft kissed her hand.
"Goodnight, Ariel."
