<Like Real People Do> {Twilight} (Discontinued)

Chapter 4

Every day for the past week Bella and I have been hanging out, whether it was in the car rides to school or working on homework together. I guess I could say we are friends, now Rosalie is a different story all together now we still have the ideal chit chat to the point we are a little over acquaintances. Now for the past week Bella has been raving about how she plans to confront Edward but his problem with her, that is if he ever decides to show up to school seeing as he has MIA for the past week.

Another thing that  struck me odd was Jasper Hale, the boy who supposedly doesn't associate with anyone outside his family, has been seemingly always near me since my first day here. I first noticed it in History when he sat right next to me instead of in the back like he did the first two days. Then again when he waited for me at the end of class and walked me to my Math class instead of going to his own. Also how he always seems to pop up out of thin air when I get lost or turned around, at first it creeped me out but I soon learned to roll with it.

By the end of the week I had a scheduled day starting with Bella being at my door by seven forty sharp, driving in her loud truck to school, practically dying in PE, Talking to Emmet on my way to English, meeting up with Bella on my way to lunch, sitting next to Jasper in History, cheating off of Jasper in History, Jasper walking me to math, Bella walking with me to Art, Rosaline and I playing 21 questions, both giving off very vague answers, meeting up with Bella at her truck, driving to Bella's house to work on homework, and lastly making dinner for Rick and I ( because I quickly found out he couldn't cook for nothing ) then going to bed.

So today started out like any other  except today I fell on my ass walking to Bella's house, Bella being a good friend trying to help me up only knocking us both to the ground once again. "Ow," We let out a ground as Charlie rushed to help us up. "You girls okay?" He asked while we stood up and nodded. "Yeah we're good, ice doesn't really help the uncoordinated." Bella said while she - you guessed it - gave another one of her famous airy laughs.

"That's why I had new tires put on the truck the old ones were getting pretty bald, well probably be late for dinner I'm heading down to mason country a security guard at Greisen Mill got killed by some kind of animal." Charlie informed us and Bella and I shared a strange look, " an animal?" she asked, I was thinking the same we didn't  get a lot of animal attacks down at Dallas. "Your not in the south anymore girls, anyway I figured Rick and I better lend a hand."

"Well you two be careful," I said and Charlie gave me a small smile. "Always are," Charlie responded easing my nerves just a tiny bit. "Thanks for the tires," Bella said as Charlie was about to step into his cruiser, he gave his daughter a smile along with a yep and drove off. Bella and I arrived at school just as it started to down pore on us and I pulled out my navy blue umbrella that I kept in case of emergences like this, it would have been a hole lot of explaining as to why my hair miraculously dried.

Today went like it normally did up until History rolled around...

I sat down in my usual spot in the middle of the classroom, my shoulder partner being Jasper.  As the teacher explained that we would be doing a projected on interesting events in the 20's, which I couldn't be more excited for, with are shoulder partners. Jasper and I were landed with the probation laws and how people got around them , which I found as an interesting topic myself. We immediately started working in complete silence when Jasper surprised me.

"So how has your day been going?" Jasper asked and I looked at him wide eye as he held a small smile. "Uh what?" I asked not fully comprehending that he was actually talking. "I asked how was your day," he repeated more slowly and I nodded with my mouth slightly open. "Yea, I know that I mean this is the first time you actually spoke to me." I said and he let out a small chuckle and asked "would you rather not talk then?"

"Uh....... No."

"Okay then, how has your day been?"

"Good I guess? You?"

"Great."

"Cool."

"Are you liking it here in forks?"

"Yeah you could say that?"

"So where did you move from?"

"What is this twenty question?"

"Yes."

"Well then, I moved from Dallas, Texas."

"that must have been a big change."

"Yeah it has."

"So have any siblings?"

"None that I talk to."

"Well that's unfortunate."

And so on for the rest of class we worked while jasper asked me questions, it wasn't like it with Rosaline it was surprisingly much easier to talk to Jasper. We Got the project done in class which I was immensely happy about and the rest of the day went by smoothly. I had my earbuds in as I walked to the car to see Bella gazing at her Bronze Superman  but as we both had them in we didn't hear the Van until it was to late. Edward, who I distinctly remembered being across the lot, knocked Bella and I to the ground.

As I fell to the ground my head met the pavement in a loud smack sending my le jolted out causing it to be lodged in-between the Van and Bella's truck. A sickening snap went across the parking lot followed by a scream, it took me a minute to realize it was my own. My leg felt like it was lit on fire and my head had this annoying ringing going threw it as people crowded around me, it did take me long to pass out from the pain.

OOOOOOOHHHHH CLIFHANGER!!!!!.......................................... not really

anyway so yay I felt bad for leaving you guys such a short chapter, so l gave you all a slightly longer one soooo TADA!!!!!!!! I'm happy how this turned out and it gave me something other than homework to do. Until next time I decide to update!
