Bullying: Poem

My first poem on Wattpad. Please enjoy :)

Bullying

Everything starts off somewhere,

In class, someone begins making stupid comments

People join in; they make fun about your clothes and your hair

They say things that don't make sense

They try their best to make you cry

But you know that what they’re saying are all lies

School day's over

People started stealing your stuff

You’ve had just about enough

After a while your friends don't want to be seen with you

Scared that they'll start getting picked on too

You get home

Mom and Dad aren’t even there

You want to tell them what has been happening

Not that they would even care

You're scared to be left alone and sadly you always are

This whole bullying thing has gone too far

Events that leave you emotionally scarred

Everyday stuck behind bars

No one wants to help

No one cares

It’s not going to matter if you aren't there

You’re don't feel like getting up

Scared to go to school

Getting radicalized by the kids who think they're cool

You go anyway hoping things would change

No, people continue insulting you

Calling you names

Never catching a break

From what they think is a game

You try talking to your teachers but they don't believe you

The last thing you need

Is for them to think you’re creepy too

Everything is getting out of hand

You just want it to end

One night you get up and go to the garage

You grab a rope and tie it to the ceiling

No one is there to stop you from leaving

You stand up on the stool

You forget completely about school

The moment is now or never

To move on to something better

You're scared to be left alone and sadly you always are

This whole bullying thing has gone too far

Events that leave you emotionally scarred

Everyday stuck behind bars

No one sees you

No matter how much you cry

No one cares

No matter how hard you try

No one wants to help

No one is there to say farewell

No one is there to save you from jumping off the chair

It’s not going to matter
