Chapter 13: "Cold and More"

Tessa's P.O.V

I woke up chilled to the bones, I got up all fast; "Tessa? You're safe, and you're okay." He said. "I'm so cold." I said. "Take this." Lydia said. "It's because you're still connected to Derek." He said. "What happened, while I was out?" I asked. "Should we tell her?" Lydia asked Deaton. "Where's Derek?" I asked. "About that?" Lydia said. "I'm going after him, So help me god." I growled. I shifted and went out the door. "I thought the mountain ash would help keep her in." Lydia said. "She's kind of like you go as you please." He said.

I followed where Derek's scent was strong I could feel his emotions; I howled. "Tessa?" I heard Scott say. I ran to the school as fast as I could someone was fighting a monster it was Derek. The monsters backed up and ran, I changed back. "Derek," I said as I came up to kiss him his eyes glowed yellow. I kissed him. So what happened that Derek was changed back to his younger self I was a bit confused.

I went and got my babies Mom was in the kitchen; "Mom?" I asked, "Sweetheart, thank god you're okay." She said, while running over to me. "I'm fine, just here to get my children." I said. "Where's Derek?" She asked. "In the car, he didn't want to come in." I said. "Was it that bad? Who cut you?" She asked. "Hunters, in Mexico... I was finding Derek, but they came to the loft and took me." I said. "And now Kate Argent is back? I don't know what to do Mom." I said.

"Kate is alive like Peter alive?" She asked. "Yeah, I'm trying mom, but I'm running out of options." I said. "Meaning?" She asked. "To protect my family, I wish I could have met Derek's mom, she would really been a big help with werewolf twins." I said. "Be you own anchor, Tessa." She said. "That's not what I meant, my anger is fine." I said.

I got the twins in the back seat of the car; "Mommy missed you..." I said. "So did Daddy." I said and looked at Derek, he smiled. We got home to the loft Peter was there and Breadon., "Good, you just in time." Peter said. We talked numbers Derek was hiring her to find Kate and protect our children. "We hiring you to find Kate, not assassinate the president." Peter said. I took the paper and wrote some big number on it. "We good now?" I asked getting kind of angry. "Good." She said.

"What the hell was you thinking?" Peter screamed. "Scream at me more or I'll kill you." I said. "You're bluffing." He said. "Oh no I am not I would gladly kill you." I said while going towards him. "Tessa! Stop it." Derek said. "Get out of here Peter," I said. "Go Peter." Derek said. "Fine," He said. "He drives me crazy, I want to kill him." I said. "I know, you need to calm yourself." He said.
