Chapter 2: "My Boyfriend is a Werewolf?"

Tessa's P.O.V

The next day I woke up and got ready for school, I heard my brother talking to someone. It was Derek. I heard them saying, "What the hell do you think you're doing dating my sister?" Scott yells. "Well first of all it was her choice, second of I will not tell her about us being werewolves." Derek exclaims. 'What the hell!?' I asked myself. I finally got the strength to go in Scott's room. "Yeah I just heard what you were saying." I said.

Well it was a week later and I still couldn't believe that my boyfriend's a werewolf, and so is my brother. So I was walking through the forest to get to Derek's. When I heard something growl behind. "TESSA RUN!" I heard Derek yell. I looked back in the back of me and there was some type of wolf like creature behind me. It roared at me, it finally charged at me, and sank its teeth into my side. Derek knocked the creature off of me and fell to the ground. The monster was on top of him. "Derek," I whisper. The next thing I know I blacked out.

A couple hours later I finally woke up; it was still kind of blurry I saw someone beside me. Then it was finally clear I could see Derek. "Derek." I said. "You're up." He said. "What happened? Did I blackout?" I asked. "Yeah, you did." He said. "Derek, tell me what really happened?" I questioned him. "Well here's the thing Tess, if I tell you you always freak out. You got bit the alpha attacked you last night." Derek exclaimed. "So am I going to die? Derek, why you looking at me like that?" I asked. "I'm gonna die aren't I?" I questioned. "I don't know yet, the bite isn't healing like it should be." Derek exclaimed. "So then I'm something else." I said. "Maybe." He said. "Just hold that thought." He said.

Derek's P.O.V

I went outside facing Scott Tessa's younger brother; "I know about you dating my sister, but seriously kidnapping her is not the right way to do it." Scott said. "I didn't kidnap her she came here she kind of got bit by the alpha... but her bite isn't healing as quickly." I started to exclaim. "Can I see her? And why do you protect her? Is it a werewolf thing I don't know because she won't tell me?" Scott questioned. "Yes, it's a werewolf thing... but she doesn't know it yet." I said. "What are you guys like mates or something?" He asked. "Yeah something like that." I said. "Come on I'll let you see her." I said.

We went inside I saw Tessa standing against the stairwell; "Well look who finally gets along with one another." Tess said. "You should be resting." I said. "On the bed where I put you." I said. "Fine, just play nice." She said. Tessa went back to my bedroom I looked at Scott I went upstairs he followed. I stayed outside the bedroom door while she visited of course I listened in. "Scott, I'm fine." She said. "But Derek said the alpha bit you... you know what that means right?" He asked. "I know what it means I'm fine, Scott... Tell mom I'm staying at Lydia's tonight." She said. "I'll be fine." She reassured him.

Tessa's P.O.V

I woke up to see Derek laying beside me; "Derek." I said. "Let me check the bite." He said. He came over and pulled my shirt over where it showed my bite mark. He pulled the bandage off it was healed. "That doesn't make any sense." Derek whispered to himself. "What doesn't make any sense?" I questioned. "The bite mark healed not yesterday, but today and I want to find out what you are... Damn it." He screamed and threw some glass on the floor. "Derek, calm down." I said. "You need to sleep." I said. "Come on get up here." I said. Derek came over to the other side and hugged my waist he finally went to sleep. I was up in a chair drawing I drew a wolf more like werewolf then I drew Derek.

Derek woke up and saw me drawing; "Whatcha drawing?" Derek asked. "It's surprise." I said. "I hate surprises." Derek growled. "Well you don't growl Mister Hale." I said. "Like you don't either did you have a nightmare last night?" He asked. "How'd you know?" I asked. "Because I could it sense it were connected I was going to tell when the time was right... but the time is never right." Derek says. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Were like meant for each other were mates." Derek said.
